ROUNDUP: Sagel scores twice, rallies Bonanza past Clark

Robert Sagel scored two goals Monday as Bonanza’s boys soccer team rallied from an early 1-0 deficit to down visiting Clark, 3-1.

Kevin Fuentes added a score for the Bengals.

Rey Saavedra tallied Clark’s goal.

Spring Valley 4, Sierra Vista 3 — At Spring Valley, Seth McGinn had two goals and an assist, and Ricky Gonzalez added a pair of goals as the Grizzlies outlasted the Mountain Lions.

Jorge Echavarria tallied two goals, and Stefan Stefanovic also scored for Sierra Vista.

Durango 2, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Jose Perez tapped home a shot that deflected off the crossbar with three minutes to play to give Durango a tie with the Diamondbacks.

Ryan Benavente also scored for the Trailblazers.

Jarom Stuart scored both goals for Desert Oasis.

Bishop Gorman 9, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Gorman, Shane Thompson had two goals and two assists, and Ramak Roohani and Fuzz Orellana added two goals apiece as the Gaels routed the Trojans.

Nick Wesen, Tyler Eng and Michael Gray tallied a goal apiece for the Gaels.

Thomas Olsen made one save in recording the shutout.

Palo Verde 4, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Palo Verde, Matt Polster tallied three goals and an assist as the Panthers cruised past the Mustangs.

Matej Kustura also scored for Palo Verde.

Juan Gutierrez had Shadow Ridge’s goal.

Arbor View 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Arbor View, Nico Johnson had two goals, and Michael Snook added a goal and an assist to lift the Aggies past the Desert Shields.

Kyle Renfro converted a penalty kick for Cheyenne’s lone goal.

Centennial 1, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Centennial, each team scored a first-half goal as the Bulldogs and Spartans played to a tie.

Eric Christiansen scored for Centennial.

Jordan Moreno struck for Cimarron’s goal.

Mojave 5, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Kellogg-Zaher Park, Benjamin Soto notched a goal and two assists to help the Rattlers top the Crusaders.

Roosevelt Solis, William Flores, Cuahutemoc Eno and Travis Cunningham added a goal apiece for Mojave.

Cameron Stimson scored for the Crusaders.

Legacy 1, Boulder City 0 — At Legacy, Saul Aguirre scored midway through the second half to give the Longhorns the victory over the Eagles.

Legacy’s Jorge Gonzalez recorded four saves to earn the shutout.

Moapa Valley 1, Adelson School 1 — At Overton, Ben Huismon’s goal with less than eight minutes remaining allowed the Lions to tie the Pirates.
