Roundup: Sierra Vista gets by Basic

Juan Ponce scored with two minutes remaining in regulation Wednesday to lift Sierra Vista’s boy soccer team to a 2-1 road home win over Basic.

Leo Hwang also scored for the Mountain Lions, and Leo Hwang and Carson Beck had assists.

Brayden Hummel scored for the Wolves.

Bishop Gorman 1, Coronado 0 — At Coronado, Hiram Triana scored to lift the Gaels by the Cougars.

Kauila Hoapili recorded the clean sheet for Gorman.

Spring Valley 2, Durango 2 — At Durango, Bum Cho and Carlos Casto each scored a goal to help the Grizzlies earn a tie with the Trailblazers.

Castro and Cysco Martinez had assists for Spring Valley.

Jose Alocer and Adonis Rodriguez each scored a goal for Durango.

Liberty 3, Silverado 0 — At Liberty, Hayden Prasad, David Leon, and Marco Amezquita each scored a goal, as the Patriots blanked the Skyhawks.

Max Patton had two assists for Liberty. Goalkeeper Ivan Rodriguez had three saves in the shutout.

Valley 4, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Valley, Andy Gonzales supplied a goal and an assist as the Vikings blanked the Trojans.

Samuel Milenge, Shadrack Milenge, and Dayan Rodrgiuez each scored once for Valley. Goalkeeper David Ramirez had six saves to earn the shutout.

Clark 6, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Juan Beltran-Diaz scored five goals as the Chargers blanked the Falcons.

Bryan Miranda added a goal, and recorded the shutout for Clark.

Del Sol 8, The Meadows 0 — The Meadows, Diego Montes had four goals to lead the Dragons to a rout of the Mustangs.

Luis Mendoza added a goal and two assists and Luis Zuniga, Luis Martinez-Fernando, and Erik Herrera each scored once for Del Sol, which led 6-0 at halftime.

Angello Portocarrero supplied three assists, and goalkeepers Jesus Gallardo and Angel De La Paz each worked a half and split the shutout.

Tech 8, Green Valley 0 — At Tech, Alan Lopez notched three goals as the Roadrunners sprinted past the Gators.

Frank DeLeon, Aaron Castro, Emmanuel Flores, Asish Pandey, and Anthony Garcia all scored for Tech, and teammate Ricardo Felipe supplied two assists.

Yobani Garcia-Benitez got the shutout for the Roadrunners.

Mojave 12, Adelson School 0 — At Mojave, Oscar Gonzalez had four goals, and Jesus Ubario-Ochoa had three goals and three assists for the Rattlers in a win over the Lions.

Jonathan Gonazlez added two goals for Mojave, and Felix Perez, Adam Trejo-Montes and Francisco Rebolledo each scored one goal for the Rattlers.

Western 14, Somerset-Losee 0 — At Western, Juan Estrada had three goals and an assist for the Warriors in a 60-minute win over the Eagles.

Jessey Morales-Trejo, Brayan Gonzalez and Mauricio Muniz each added two goals for Western.
