Roundup: Silverado’s Sunil Subba nets winner late to defeat Basic

Sunil Subba scored the go-ahead goal unassisted in the 78th minute to help Silverado’s boys soccer team rally for a 2-1 home win over Basic on Thursday afternoon.

David Matias-Flores scored the tying goal in the 69th minute off an assist by Angel Ramirez.

Torres Miller scored

a first-half goal for Basic.

Bishop Gorman 2, Bonanza 1 — At Gorman, Hayden Masden had a goal and an assist, including the game-winning score with two minutes remaining in the first half, to lead the Gaels over the Bengals.

Jeffrey Wright also scored for the Gaels.

Jared Chavez scored the Bengals’ goal.

Spring Valley 3, Desert Oasis 2 — At Spring Valley, John Goecke scored two goals, and Bum Cho added one goal and one assist to lead the Grizzlies past the Diamondbacks.

Patrick Falkensammer and Robert Quaintance each had an assist for Spring Valley, which led 1-0 at halftime and never trailed.

Haiko Hovak scored both Desert Oasis goals, assisted by Kyle Whittlesy.

Foothill 1, Liberty 1 — At Liberty, the Falcons and Patriots each scored a first-half goal and played to a draw.

Stanley Henderson scored off an assist from Trent Milne for Foothill.

David Leon scored for Liberty, and teammate Jose Salcedo had an assist.

Chaparral 1, Tech 1 — At Tech, the Roadrunners and Cowboys played to a draw after each team scored second-half goals.

Bryan Macias scored for Chaparral.

Alan Lopez was the lone goal scorer for Tech, which got six saves from goalkeeper Yobani Garcia-Benitez.

Durango 3, Sierra Vista 1 — At Sierra Vista, Tyson Tesfamariam scored twice as the Trailblazers knocked off the Mountain Lions.

Christopher Hernandez also scored for the Trailblazers.

Daniel Perez scored Sierra Vista’s goal.

Del Sol 9, Boulder City 0 — At Del Sol, Sergio Calderon and Brayhan Curriel-Rosas each scored twice as the Dragons routed the Eagles.

Yerovys Vargas-Gill, Oscar Morales-Casimiro,Ismael Veloz, Jose Moreno-Mendez and Abdul Aziz-Ahmed each scored for the Dragons.

Jesus Gallardo and Edgar Gazal-Frausto split the shutout for Del Sol.

Moapa Valley 5, Somerset-Sky Pointe 1 — At Overton, Sebastean Gutierrez scored two goals, and Bryan Robles had one goal and three assists in the Pirates’ win over the Eagles.

Gabriel Hernandez had one goal and one assist, and Ethynn Fullman also scored for Moapa Valley.

Don Jean-Francois scored for Somerset-Sky Pointe.

Desert Pines 8, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite , Joel Sanchez scored four goals as he led the Jaguars to a victory over the Bulldogs.

Erick Santillan and David Zamilpa-Romero each scored a goal and added two assists for the Jaguars, Jaime Lugar-Ochoa and Christian Enamorado-Dominguez each scored one goal.

Jaguars goalkeeper Justin Becerra kept the clean sheet.
