ROUNDUP: Spring Valley boys soccer edges Durango

Mutaz Alghoula broke a scoreless tie with three minutes remaining Friday, lifting Spring Valley to a 1-0 win at Durango in boys soccer.
Alghoula scored off an assist from Ricky Gonzalez.
“It was a really good defensive game,” Spring Valley coach Bill Hamilton said. “It took us a while to finally get one past.”
John Strand earned the shutout for the Grizzlies.
Western 1, Bishop Gorman 0 — At Western, the Warriors scored on the rebound of a penalty kick four minutes into the match and packed it in defensively to hold off the Gaels.
Bishop Gorman attacked Western’s defense with 32 shots but didn’t score. Western managed only two shots.
Pahrump Valley 4, Sierra Vista 0 — At Pahrump Valley, Daimon Nelson scored all four goals in the first half to help the Trojans down Sierra Vista.
Shane Lindemann recorded the shutout for Pahrump, making one save.
Clark 11, Desert Oasis 0 — At Clark, Angelo Soro scored three goals and had two assists as the Chargers routed Desert Oasis.
Salvador Bernal added two goals and three assists. Osmond Zaliente scored twice. Raul Castro, Miguel Gonzalez, Omar Magana and Jerson Pinto each had one goal.
Magana and Oscar Gamez combined on the shutout.
White Pine 5, Lake Mead 0 — At Lake Mead, Dillon Neubauer scored twice to lead the Bobcats past the Eagles.
Tony Gomez, Johnny Holloway and Colton Stones each added a goal for White Pine.
