ROUNDUP: Stuart, Desert Oasis’ boys tame Bengals

Conner Stuart had a goal and an assist to lead Desert Oasis’ boys soccer team to a 2-0 victory over visiting Bonanza.

Tristen Schoonmaker added a goal, and Damien Herrera had the shutout.

It was the school’s first boys soccer victory over Bonanza.

Legacy 3, Cimarron-Memorial 2 — At Cimarron-Memorial, Antonio Velazquez had a goal and an assist for the Longhorns as they topped the Spartans.

Saul Aguirre and Ivan Rodriguez each added a goal for Legacy.

Oso Valencia scored both Cimarron goals, including one with 10 minutes remaining, but the Spartans couldn’t complete the comeback.

Boulder City 2, Chaparral 1 — At Chaparral, Victor Andrades scored twice as the Eagles edged the Cowboys.

Andrades’ goal in the second half broke a 1-1 tie.

Jose Morales scored in the first half for Chaparral.

Bishop Gorman 2, Centennial 1 — At Bishop Gorman, Blake Balelo scored a goal with a minute left to lift the Gaels over the Bulldogs.

Rian McEvoy added a goal and an assist for Gorman.

Miguel Nieto scored for Centennial.

Clark 4, Mojave 2 — At Mojave, Victor Alvarez had a goal and two assists to help the Chargers build a 4-0 halftime lead and hold off the Rattlers.

Eduardo Martinez, Jose Martinez and Daniel Barauna each added a goal for Clark.

Christopher Pulido and Noe Garcia scored for Mojave.

Western 1, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, the Desert Shields and Warriors tied.

Darian Farias notched a goal for Western on a Luis Ponce assist.

Brandon Bohnets had a goal for Cheyenne on an assist from Terrence Tambeagor.

Sunrise Mountain 4, Moapa Valley 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Luis Olantez scored two goals and had an assist for the Miners in their win over the Pirates.

Tieo Del Casal and Luis Cortez also scored, and Robert Malone and Herbie Lopez combined for four saves and a shutout for Sunrise Mountain.

Faith Lutheran 4, The Meadows 1 — At Faith Lutheran, D’Khari Hicks had two goals and two assists to power the Crusaders past the Mustangs.

The game was tied 1-1 at the half, but Faith Lutheran pulled away in the second half.

Ryan Callan and Sam Stevens also scored for the Crusaders.

Austin Lee scored for The Meadows.

Desert Pines 3, Virgin Valley 0 — At Desert Pines, the Jaguars scored three second-half goals to top the Bulldogs.

Hector Hernandez, Genaro Corona and Lazaro Pineda each had a goal for Desert Pines. Cesar Corona recorded the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 7, Adelson School 4 — At Adelson School, Hiram Castro had a goal and three assists to lead the Trojans past the Lions.

Efren Herrera and Nick Nelson each had a goal and an assist, and Nolan Toomer, Dominic Museci and Joshua Mortensen also scored for Pahrump, which benefited from an own goal.

Mendi Berrebi had three goals, and Dominic Bembenek scored once for Adelson.
