Roundup: Sunrise Mountain hands Eldorado first loss

Angel Arreola had a goal and two assists Thursday as the visiting Sunrise Mountain boys soccer team handed Eldorado its first loss of the season, 3-2.

Rodrigo Mayorga and Branson Suarez each added a goal for Sunrise Mountain, which led 3-0 before Eldorado got on the board.

Roberto Gonzalez scored twice for the Sundevils.

Durango 2, Clark 1 — At Durango, Tyson Tesfamariam scored on an assist from Adonis Rodriguez in the 76th minute to break a 1-1 tie and give the Trailblazers a win over the Chargers.

Gael Delangel-Parra tied the game on a header from a corner kick in the 70th minute for Durango.

Ian Kearney scored Clark’s goal.

Coronado 1, Tech 1 — At Tech, Lincoln Aquino scored on a penalty kick in the 20th minute to earn the 1-1 tie with the Roadrunners.

Tech opened the scoring in the 10th minute on a goal from Ricardo Felipe off an assist by Anthony Garcia.

Canyon Springs 3, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Jovanny Salvidar and Jose Gonzalez each had a goal and an assist to lead the Pioneers over the Crusaders.

Josue Figueroa also scored for Canyon Springs.

Foothill 3, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Darwin Milian had two goals and an assist as the Falcons blanked the Gators.

Colin O’Reilly scored for Foothill, and William Potter made five saves in the shutout.

Desert Oasis 4, Silverado 1 — At Desert Oasis, Ethan Kovach scored two goals to lead the Diamondbacks past the Skyhawks.

Alan Flores and Erik Ramos also scored goals for the Diamondbacks, who had three goals in the second half.

Isaac Allen scored for Silverado.

Bishop Gorman 4, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Hayden Madsen had a goal and an assist to lead the Gaels over the Mountain Lions.

Alexander Daseler, James Brooks and Hiram Triana scored for Gorman.

Diesel Fiore made three saves to record the shutout for the Gaels.

Spring Valley 5, Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Bum Cho scored three goals to lead the Grizzlies past the Vikings.

Dominic Velasquez had a goal and an assist, and Cesar Estrada scored a goal for Spring Valley.

Cysco Martinez had two assists for Spring Valley, and Alejandro Lopez and Israel Uscanga combined for the shutout in goal. They each had three saves.

Liberty 7, Basic 1 — At Basic, Hayden Prasad had three goals and an assist as the Patriots routed the Wolves.

Jose Salcedo added a goal and three assists for Liberty, which led 3-0 at the half.

Jacob Lutostanski had a goal and an assist, and Jason Angel Gilliland and Dylan Jones each scored once for the Patriots, who got two assists from Quinn Rankin.

Pablo Sanchez scored Basic’s goal.

Western 7, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Western, Elizandro Zaragoza had two goals and an assist to lift the Warriors over the Trojans.

Hector Romero scored twice for Western. Leonardo Solis had a goal and an assist, Bryan Gonzalez and Andy Rodriguez each scored once, and Jose Arias had two assists for the Warriors.

Jesus Hurtado scored for Pahrump.

Del Sol 6, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Luis Zuniga and Diego Montes each scored a goal and had an assist to lead the Dragons past the Lions.

Luis Martinez-Fernando, Cesar Lezama, Angello Portocarrero and Jesus Sanchez each scored a goal for the Dragons.

Goalkeepers Jesus Gallaro and Angel De La Paz combined for the shutout.
