ROUNDUP: Valencia cements Cimarron shutout over Cheyenne

Alex Valencia scored two of Cimarron-Memorial’s three goals in the first half as the Spartans defeated visiting Cheyenne 3-0 in boys soccer Tuesday.
 
Kevin Romero also scored, and Alex Ramirez and Bryan Webb combined on the shutout.
 
Palo Verde 5, Mojave 0 — At Palo Verde, Shane Panther scored twice and Colton McCann posted a shutout to lead the Panthers past the Rattlers.
 
Matej Kustera, Matt Polster, and Ramon Alas-Cruz also scored and Alex Shackley had two assists.
 
Centennial 4, Arbor View 0 — At Centennial, Chance Rosa scored two goals and Isaac Ramirez had a goal and two assists to lead the Bulldogs over the Aggies.
 
Blake Frischknecht also scored and Julien Mihy recorded the shutout.

Faith Lutheran 2, Legacy 1 — At Legacy, Tyler Koerwitz and Alex Gregoriu scored in the second half as the Crusaders nipped the Longhorns.

Bishop Gorman 4, Durango 1 — At Bishop Gorman, Austin Cain scored three goals to guide the Gaels over the Trailblazers.
 
Sean Zaher scored the first goal for Bishop Gorman.
 
Jeremy Allen scored on a rebound in the second half for Durango.
 
Western 8, Sierra Vista 0 — At Western, Abraham Navarro had two goals and two assists and Felipe Medina also scored twice as the Warriors blanked the Mountain Lions.
 
Eduardo Hernandez added a goal and two assists. Junior Ballard, Juan Bracamontes and Martin Solorzano also scored, and Andres Rodriguez got the shutout.
 
Clark 5, Pahrump Valley 1 — At Pahrump, Salvador Bernal had four goals and an assist to lead the Chargers past the Trojans.
 
Juan Regalado added a goal and an assist for Clark, and teammate Juan Chavez had two assists.
 
Lucas Esser scored for Pahrump.
 
Bonanza 1, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Chad Smith scored midway through the second half to lift the Bengals past Spring Valley.
 
Billy Sagel made six saves for the shutout.
 
Virgin Valley 6, The Meadows 1 — At Virgin Valley, Adam Berntsson and Williams Lara scored two goals each as the Bulldogs pulled away from the Mustangs.
 
Joel Medina added a goal and three assists and Luis Rodriguez also scored.

Pahrump Valley 7, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Leanne Morrow scored twice as the Trojans coasted past the Eagles.
