ROUNDUP: Valencia scores three as Cimarron boys down Diamondbacks

Oso Valencia had three goals and an assist Tuesday to lead Cimarron-Memorial’s boys soccer team to a 7-0 win over visiting Desert Oasis.

Garrick Quackenbush and Jose Ascencio each added a goal and an assist, and David Martinez and Johnny Centeno also scored for the Spartans.

Richard Crews and Eddie Ortiz combined on the shutout.

Legacy 1, Centennial 0 — At Legacy, Antonio Velazquez’s second-half goal accounted for all of the scoring as the Longhorns nipped the Bulldogs.

Daniel Diaz had seven saves and earned the shutout for Legacy.

Bishop Gorman 1, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, the Gaels benefited from an own goal early in the second half and hung on for the victory.

Thomas Olsen earned the shutout for Gorman.

Faith Lutheran 1, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, D’Khari Hicks scored just past the midway point of the second half to give the Crusaders the win over the Desert Shields.

Carter Bishop made six saves to earn the shutout.

Desert Pines 3, Boulder City 1 — At Desert Pines, Genaro Corona scored twice, and Luis Osorio added a goal to help the Jaguars beat the Eagles.

Victor Andrades scored for Boulder City.

Chaparral 4, Virgin Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Aldo Skewes and Jose Morales each had a goal and an assist to help the Cowboys top the Bulldogs.

Vince Gomez and Ivan Jaquez also scored for Chaparral.

Gerardo Skewes made three saves to earn the shutout.

Mojave 6, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Mojave, Lemuel Dyck had two goals, and Cristopher Pulido and Antonio Perez each added a goal and an assist to lead the Rattlers by the Trojans.

Lynno Muro and Ulises Bibiano each scored a goal, and Juan Ramirez dealt out two assists for Mojave.

Gulmaro Falcon was in goal for the shutout.

Western 7, The Meadows 0 — At Western, Miguel Ibanez racked up two goals and three assists as the Warriors breezed past the Mustangs.

Fernando Caro added two goals, and Luis Ponce and Adrian Minjares each had a goal and an assist for Western, which also got a goal from Darian Farias.

Jose Bautista recorded the shutout.

Tech 8, Sunrise Mountain 3 — At Sunrise Mountain, Salvador Garcia had four goals and an assist to lead the Roadrunners by the Miners.

Derian Salcido added two goals, and Rafael Munoz had a goal and two assists for Tech, which also got a goal from Julio Vargas.

Clark 10, Adelson School 0 — At Clark, the Chargers routed the Lions.
