ROUNDUP: Virgin Valley routs Moapa Valley in boys soccer
Pedro Carminatti, Joel Medina and Will Lara each scored two goals Wednesday as Virgin Valley’s boys soccer team routed visiting Moapa Valley, 7-0.
Tanner Tichenor also scored for the Bulldogs, who built a 5-0 halftime lead.
Adam Berntsson added two assists for Virgin Valley. Goalkeepers Nathan Lee and Lucas Molin combined on the shutout, with Molin making two saves in the second half.
GIRLS
Moapa Valley 1, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, Gaby Paongo scored the tying goal with 15 minutes to play as the Bulldogs tied Moapa Valley.
Ashley Nevey scored in the second half for Moapa Valley.
