Roundup: Western earns draw with Palo Verde

Western’s boys soccer team scored a pair of second-half goals on Friday to earn a 2-2 draw with visiting Palo Verde.

Palo Verde’s Bryan Montoya and Timothy Stephens each scored one goal, and Anthony Kaskie and Luke McGee had assists for the Panthers.

Western’s Juan Estrada and Andy Rodriguez each scored one goal, and Gustavo Sanchez and Leonardo Solis each had one assist for the Warriors.

Bishop Gorman 1, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, the Gaels and Crusaders played to a draw.

Blake Millero scored for Faith Lutheran.

Moapa Valley 3, Coral Academy 2 — At Overton, Bryan Robles scored with about 20 minutes to play to break a 2-2 tie and give the Pirates the win over the Falcons.

Ethynn Fulman and Gabriel Hernandez each added a goal, and Robles had an assist for Moapa Valley.

Osama Tawfik and Jad Fayad scored for Coral Academy.
