ROUNDUP: Zacarias buries PK in final seconds as Cimarron boys tie Arbor View

Gerardo Zacarias’ penalty-kick goal with 10 seconds remaining Thursday capped a wild finish and allowed Cimarron-Memorial’s boys soccer team earn a 1-1 tie with visiting Arbor View.
The Aggies took a 1-0 lead early in the first half on a goal by Michael Snook and held the lead until the final minute of the match.
With 45 seconds remaining, the Spartans were given a penalty kick when the Aggies were called for a handball in the penalty box.
Arbor View goalkeeper Christian Hallstrom stopped Cimarron’s Oso Valencia on the penalty kick, and both teams scrambled for the rebound.
The Aggies were then called for a foul inside the box, giving the Spartans another penalty kick, which Zacarias converted.
Bishop Gorman 1, Spring Valley 1 — At Gorman, Jonathan Phan’s penalty-kick goal with six minutes left gave the Grizzlies a tie against the Gaels.
Michael Gray scored Gorman’s goal earlier in the second half.
Centennial 5, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Centennial, Chance Rosa scored twice, and Erik Christiansen added a goal and an assist as the Bulldogs blanked the Crusaders.
Grant Gonzales and Mikey Sylva also scored for Centennial, and Blake Frischknecht tallied three assists.
Adrian Rodriguez was in goal for the shutout.
Legacy 4, Mojave 1 — At Legacy, the Longhorns got a goal apiece from Julio Uribe, Louis Chaidez, Miguel Herrera and Saul Aguirre to help them beat the Rattlers.
Stefan Skrinjaric supplied two assists for Legacy.
Alex Mendoza scored for Mojave.
Cheyenne 6, Shadow Ridge 3 — At Shadow Ridge, Jackson Collins scored three goals and had two assists, and Abel Gutierrez added a goal and an assist as the Desert Shields powered past the Mustangs.
 
Michael Figiel and goalkeeper Aurelio Ramirez each scored a goal for Cheyenne.
The Mustangs’ Blake Damato scored two goals, and teammate Juan Gutierrez added a goal and an assist.
Durango 2, Pahrump Valley 2 — At Durango, Paris Estrada’s goal with 15 minutes remaining allowed the Trailblazers to earn a tie with the Trojans.
Ryan Benavente scored to give Durango a 1-0 halftime lead.
The Trojans rallied to take a 2-1 lead in the second half on goals by Bryce Moser and Jason Garcia.
Bonanza 3, Western 1 — At Western, Bonanza’s Giovanni Rodriguez scored three first-half goals as the Bengals defeated the Warriors.
Joshua Ballard scored for Western.
The Meadows 6, Adelson School 1 — At Adelson, Toby Warburton tallied three goals and two assists to lead the Mustangs past the Lions.
The Mustangs’ Austin Lee, Alex Karabachev and Alicia Blackham scored a goal apiece.
 
GIRLS
Virgin Valley 6, Adelson School 2 — At Mesquite, the Bulldogs defeated the Lions.
Sueleika Blackwell scored both goals for the Lions.
