SOCCER: Alexis Lopez’s header helps Clark boys tie Tech

Alexis Lopez's goal off a header with less than 10 minutes remaining in the match Friday allowed Clark's boys soccer team to earn a 2-2 tie with visiting Tech.
With the Chargers short-handed due to a red card, Ivan Lopez took the ball down the wing into the corner and sent a cross near the Tech goal. Alexis Lopez headed it into the corner of the net for the tying goal.
Jose Martinez also scored for Clark.
Francisco Garcia and Fabian Vera scored for the Roadrunners.
Salesianum School (Del.) 2, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Dylan Huber scored two first-half goals to lead the Sallies past the Crusaders.
Benjamin Lundgaard recorded the shutout for the Sallies.
GIRLS
Tech 4, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Monica Figerora had three goals and an assist to power the Roadrunners by the Bulldogs.
Alex Guzman added a goal and two assists for Tech.
Emily Lara scored both goals for Virgin Valley.
