SOCCER: Pulido lifts Mojave boys over Faith Lutheran

Cristopher Pulido scored two goals to help Mojave’s boys soccer team rally from a 1-0 halftime deficit Tuesday and post a 3-1 win at Faith Lutheran.
Antonio Perez added a goal and an assist for Mojave.
Harut Khachoyan scored for Faith Lutheran.
Western 5, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Western, Sergio Anaya scored twice to help the Warriors to the win over the Trojans.
Martin Vasquez added a goal and two assists, and Bruno Aleman had a goal and an assist for Western, which led 2-0 at the half.
Jordan Nava-Camal also scored, and Nathaniel Reyes had two assists for the Warriors.
Jose Anaya and Oscar Casas-Arias combined on the shutout.
Clark 5, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Oscar Mata had two goals and an assist to guide the Chargers by the Lions.
Ivan Lopez had a goal and an assist, and Jose Puentes and Eduardo Martinez also scored for Clark.
Tristan Polakowski and Ronaldo Sandoval combined for the shutout.
Spring Valley 6, Sierra Vista 1 — At Spring Valley, Tyson Perkins had two goals and an assist, and Blake Pride-Zorn scored twice to help the Grizzlies roll past the Mountain Lions.
Dennis Tayou added a goal and an assist, and Sergio Borboa scored for Spring Valley.
Adam Felipe Dumo scored for Sierra Vista.
GIRLS
Sierra Vista 4, Spring Valley 3 — At Sierra Vista, Angelina Iniguez scored with 15 minutes left to break a 3-3 tie and lift the Mountain Lions by the Grizzlies.
Sophia Omidiji had two goals and an assist, and Calista Reyes also scored for Sierra Vista.
Janis Martinez-Ortiz scored twice, and Savannah Villanueva added a goal for Spring Valley.
Faith Lutheran 5, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Brenna Rohnkohl and Megan Donnelly each had two goals and an assist as the Crusaders blanked the Rattlers.
Megan Sonerholm also scored for Faith Lutheran, which got a shutout from Beka Lescenski.
