Crusaders post two shutouts on first day of Show Low (Ariz.) Tournament

Kari Moloney scored two goals, and Kayla McKlein tallied two assists in the opening match as Faith Lutheran’s girls soccer team posted two wins Friday in the Show Low Tournament in Show Low, Ariz.

The Crusaders beat Blue Ridge (Ariz.), 4-0, then later added a 3-0 win over Round Valley (Ariz.).

Against Blue Ridge, Kendall Pori and Dani Theraldson added a goal apiece for Faith Lutheran, which bolted to a 3-0 halftime lead.

Kelly Zufall made eight saves to earn the shutout.

In the nightcap, Theraldson, Pori and Erika Manning each scored a goal to lift the Crusaders past Round Valley.
Jessica Forage made four saves to pick up the shutout.
