Eldorado girls blank Desert Pines

Katie Konst scored on a penalty kick, and Alexis Sama scored on an assist from Emily Hipsak on Friday to lead host Eldorado’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over Desert Pines.
Chynna Hartmann had six saves and earned the shutout for the Sundevils.
Chaparral 1, Valley 1 — At Valley, Kalah Tagle’s goal with nine minutes to play gave the Vikings the tie with the Cowboys.
Danielle Gillespie scored in the first half for Chaparral.
Rancho 5, Canyon Springs 2 —  At Rancho, the Rams led 1-0 at halftime on a goal from Zakiya Bywaters and added four second-half goals to top the Pioneers.
Bywaters scored once more in the second half, Lexa Green added two goals, and Alyssa Williams scored a goal for Rancho.
Jasmine Rico scored both Canyon Springs goals.
Bishop Gorman 11, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Hayley Wingender had four goals as the Gaels routed the Diamondbacks.
Mariah Hobbs and Megan Wasiak each scored twice for Gorman. Allie Arguello, Courtney Beckwith and Tiffany Yassi each scored once.
Alex Holland got the shutout.
 
Bonanza 0, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, the Bengals and Mountain Lions played to a scoreless tie.
Terryn Brown got the shutout for Sierra Vista, which locked up the Southwest League’s No. 2 playoff seed.
Michelle Brewer and Kylie Wassell split time in goal for Bonanza.
Clark 1, Western 1 — At Western, Maria Ramirez opened the scoring with a goal for the Warriors, and the Chargers’ Azucena Bernal scored to tie the game in the first half.

The state’s top four girls soccer teams will play for the Class 5A state title, with Bishop Gorman playing Coronado and Liberty facing Faith Lutheran in state semifinals.
