GIRLS SOCCER: Desert Oasis nips Bonanza, Rosenberg earns shutout

Kayla Saucedo’s first-half goal accounted for all of the scoring Tuesday as Desert Oasis’ girls soccer team recorded a 1-0 win at Bonanza.

Tiara Rosenberg made five saves to earn the shutout for the Diamondbacks.

Moapa Valley 1, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Tylee Evans’ second-half goal allowed the Pirates to tie the Eagles.

Jana Williams’ goal gave Boulder City a 1-0 halftime lead.

Bishop Gorman 3, Centennial 1 — At Centennial, Daisy Cabrera scored twice to lift the Gaels by the Bulldogs.

Kaila Brinkman also scored for Gorman.

Shelby Riddle scored Centennial’s goal.

Chaparral 4, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Chaparral, Rosa Martinez scored three goals, and teammate Fatima Fernandez had three assists as the Cowboys downed the Miners.

Karen George also scored a goal for Chaparral.

Miriam Galvez had both goals for Sunrise Mountain.

Faith Lutheran 5, Clark 1 — At Clark, Dani Tharaldson scored three goals to lead the Crusaders by the Chargers.

Kristi Chinn scored twice, and Kendall Pori had two assists for Faith Lutheran.

Maggie Mora scored for Clark.

Cimarron-Memorial 2, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Kaylen Dodson had a goal and an assist as the Spartans scored twice in the second half to top the Longhorns.

Annalise Esparza also scored for Cimarron.

Hylee DiBona was in goal for the shutout.

Tech 2, Virgin Valley 0 — At McCarran Park, Abrana Wielgosiak scored twice to lead the Roadrunners over the Bulldogs.

Elena Duenas had one save to earn the shutout.

Cheyenne 9, Adelson School 3 — At Adelson School, Lesly Rodriguez fired in three goals, and Jocelyn Pena and Girly Tambeagor each scored twice to help the Desert Shields beat the Lions.

Jocelyn Vasquez and Emily Gutierrez each supplied a goal for Cheyenne.

Kelsi Slee scored two goals, and Hayden Jansen added a goal for Adelson School.

Pahrump Valley 11, Western 0 — At Pahrump, Sydney Sladek supplied four goals and three assists, and teammates Kristen Young and Jennifer McCaw each added two goals and an assist as the Trojans overwhelmed the Warriors.

Brittany Klenzcar contributed a goal and an assist for Pahrump, which also got goals from Kiaya Nauck and Paige Chafee.

Nauck was in goal for the shutout.
