GIRLS SOCCER: Ibarra scores in final minute, Cowboys down Dragons

Leticia Ibarra’s goal in the final minute of the match Wednesday lifted Chaparral’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Del Sol.

Stephanie Torres also scored a second-half goal for the Cowboys, who trailed 1-0 at the half.

Celeste Ruiz scored for the Dragons.

Eldorado 2, Basic 0 — At Basic, Cristal Mendoza had a goal and an assist to lead the Sundevils by the Wolves.

Madison Granger also scored for Eldorado.

Alyana Castillo made 11 saves to earn the shutout.

Sunrise Mountain 2, Moapa Valley 0 — At Overton, Xitlaly Manzo and Brisa Pena-Martinez each scored to lead the Miners past the Pirates.

Christina Lark was in goal for the shutout.

Coronado 5, Foothill 3 — At Coronado, Ashley Thomas and Michaela Morris each scored two goals to lift the Cougars by the Falcons.

Olivia Meza also scored for Coronado, which led 3-1 at halftime.

Sarah Vanderhoven, Monica Willhite and Rae Burrell scored for Foothill.

Desert Pines 1, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, the Jaguars’ Jeanna Marin and the Bulldogs’ Abbie Barnum exchanged first-half goals as the teams played to a tie.

Shadow Ridge 5, Legacy 2 — At Legacy, Sasha Villa scored twice to guide the Mustangs by the Longhorns.

Madison Garvin, Stephanie Nava and Samantha Villa also scored for Shadow Ridge.

Nadia Hernandez and Brittani Snook each had a goal for Legacy, which got two assists from Emma Singleton.

Tech 7, Boulder City 1 — At Boulder City, Abrana Wielgosiak scored three goals to lead the Roadrunners by the Eagles.

Stephanie Newman, Kanene Mossiah, Marisol Limon and Monica Figerora each added a goal for Tech.

Oshauna Remy converted a penalty kick for Boulder City.

Green Valley 8, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Alexis Kirson had four goals and two assists as the Gators routed the Rams.

Victoria Whitehouse had a goal and two assists, and Shestan Lynam added a goal and an assist for Green Valley. Maggie Bender and Sydney Holborrow also scored for the Gators, who got two assists from Chloe Kirson.

Kiyana Lopez and Ryan Sabol combined on the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 10, Durango 0 — At Gorman, Hannah Borgel had four goals and two assists, and McKayla Philippi added two goals and two assists to help power the Gaels past the Trailblazers.

Janey Fielden had two goals and an assist, and Taylor Stahel added a goal and an assist for Gorman, which also got a goal from Margaret Essa. Gabrielle Mazarra supplied two assists for the Gaels.

Jessica Anaya was in goal for the shutout.
