GIRLS SOCCER: Kirson’s late goals help Gators tie Wildcats

Alexis Kirson scored twice in the final seven minutes Wednesday to help Green Valley’s girls soccer team to a 3-3 tie at Las Vegas.
Kirson’s first goal tied the match at 2-2 with seven minutes left. After Mackenzie McCoy put the Wildcats back ahead, Kirson tied it with 90 seconds to play.
Kayla Anderson also scored for Green Valley.
Alyssa Mireles and Alica Nunez scored for Las Vegas.
Silverado 2, Valley 1 — At Silverado, Mikayla Ahlin’s goal with five minutes gave the Skyhawks a victory over the Vikings.
Rose Covarrubias also scored for Silverado.
Paige Tarr scored for Valley.
Desert Oasis 1, Centennial 0 — At Desert Oasis, Gabriella Nevinger knocked home Rachel Handelman’s corner kick in the second half to give the Diamondbacks the win over the Bulldogs.
Tiara Rosenberg made five saves to earn the shutout.
Arbor View 1, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Lexi Epley’s goal with about 11 minutes left in the match allowed the host Aggies to tie the Mustangs.
Madison Garvin scored earlier in the second half for Shadow Ridge.
Eldorado 1, Coronado 1 — At Coronado, Lizbeth Mendoza converted a second-half penalty kick to allow the Sundevils to tie the visiting Cougars.
Michaela Morris scored a first-half goal for Coronado.
Canyon Springs 2, Rancho 1 — At Canyon Springs, Anahi Sarabia had a goal and an assist to lift the Pioneers over the Rams.
Leticia Godoy also scored for Canyon Springs.
Stephanie Gomes scored for Rancho.
Palo Verde 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Serenity Grim scored two goals as the Panthers defeated the Mountain Lions.
Kirstin Farley also scored, and Mackenzie Nogues assisted on all three goals
Jordan Goyeau made two saves en route to the shutout.
Foothill 4, Basic 0 — At Basic, Taylor Arteaga and Katherine Ballou each scored two goals to power the Falcons past the Wolves.
Rachel Kole had three saves and got the shutout for Foothill.
Liberty 5, Del Sol 2 — At Del Sol, Bridgette Raucci had two goals and two assists as the Patriots defeated the Dragons.
Nicole Cuce added a goal and two assists, and Danisa Martinez had a goal and an assist for Liberty, which also got a goal from Rebecca Rodriguez.
Jazmin Landeros and Vriana Valdes scored for Del Sol, and teammate Estefany Vargas had two assists.
Spring Valley 6, Durango 0 — At Spring Valley, Sahana Bojorquez scored two goals as the Grizzlies downed the Trailblazers.
Samantha Meyers and Nicki Chesin each had a goal and an assist for Spring Valley, which also got goals from Halle Watson and Jozee DeCunzo.
Amberlynn Twigg stopped the only shot she faced to register a shutout.
