GIRLS SOCCER: Last-minute goal salvages tie for Gators

Madison Holborrow’s 30-yard shot with 30 seconds left in the match Monday allowed Green Valley’s girls soccer team to earn a 1-1 tie with visiting Las Vegas.
Mackenzie McCoy scored a second-half goal for the Wildcats.
Palo Verde 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Palo Verde, Jadyn Nogues had two goals and an assist, and Macee Barlow added a goal and two assists as the Panthers topped the Mountain Lions.
Jordan Goyeau made four saves to earn the shutout for Palo Verde.
Arbor View 3, Shadow Ridge 0 — At Arbor View, Vanessa Lourenco had a goal and an assist as the Aggies blanked the Mustangs.
Breanna Larkin and Kendra Wallace also scored for Arbor View, which got two assists from Bailee Davis.
Kylee Wallace made two saves en route to the shutout.
Coronado 4, Eldorado 1 — At Eldorado, Taylor Kornieck scored three goals to lead the Cougars over the Sundevils
Kasey Ficklin added a goal, and Abby Brown had two assists for Coronado, which led 1-0 at the half.
Tianna Slocum scored for Eldorado.
Silverado 4, Valley 1 — At Valley, four players had a goal to help the Skyhawks top the Vikings.
Victoria Sanchez, Danielle Parven, Cassidy Pappas and Taylor Petrillo each scored for Silverado.
Paige Tarr netted Valley’s goal.
Foothill 4, Basic 0 — At Foothill, Katherine Ballou scored twice as the Falcons blanked the Wolves.
Monica Willhite and Sydnee Farrer also scored for Foothill.
Rachel Kole made four saves to earn the shutout.
Canyon Springs 5, Rancho 0 — At Rancho, Anahi Sarabia scored twice to lead the Pioneers by the Rams.
Vanessa McNair had a goal and two assists, and Vanessa Acosta and Yareli Trujillo each added a goal for Canyon Springs.
Wendy Vargas made three saves to earn the shutout.
Liberty 8, Del Sol 0 — At Liberty, Hannah Johnson scored three goals, and Alexis Mosqueda added two goals and two assists as the Patriots routed the Dragons.
Savannah Owens scored twice, and Nicole Cuce had a goal and an assist for Liberty, which got two assists apiece from Taya Hart and Bridgette Raucci.
Rebecca Rodriguez was in goal for the shutout.
Faith Lutheran 8, Boulder City 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Emily Neighbors had two goals and an assist to help the Crusaders defeat the Eagles.
Kristi Chinn had a goal and an assist, and Brooke Nigro, Charlotte Vancura, Kendall Pori, Morgan Bracey and Dani Tharaldson also scored for Faith Lutheran, which got two assists from Brenna Rohnkohl.
Beka Lescenski was in goal for the shutout.
Spring Valley 12, Durango 0 — At Durango, Jozee DeCunzo scored four goals to help the Grizzlies rout the Trailblazers.
Samantha Meyers added three goals and Daniela Rojas scored twice for Spring Valley. Abigail Barajas, Halle Watson and Ashley Tuzman each scored once for the Grizzlies, who got three assists from Savannah Villanueva.
Amberlynn Twigg made one save and recorded the shutout for Spring Valley.
