GIRLS SOCCER: May Burnette’s goal gives Coronado win over Silverado

May Burnette scored on an assist from Leili Rosenberg in the second half on Tuesday to lift Coronado’s girls soccer team to a 1-0 road win over Silverado.
Rachel Morris recorded the shutout for the fourth-ranked Cougars.
Foothill 1, Green Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Amber Risheg scored on an assist from Sydney Babakitis in the 62nd minute to give the Falcons the win over the Gators.
Natalie Williams made six saves to earn the shutout.
Liberty 1, Basic 0 — At Liberty, Jada Kirkwood scored in the final five minutes to give the Patriots the victory over the Wolves.
Lydia Rankin made two saves to get the shutout.
Chaparral 2, Moapa Valley 2 — At Overton, Leticia Ibarra scored two second-half goals to help the Cowboys tie the Pirates.
Ashlyn Western scored twice in the first half to lead Moapa Valley, which got an assist from Sierra Staheli.
Bishop Gorman 4, Spring Valley 2 — At Gorman, Arlie Jones scored three first-half goals as the Gaels beat the Grizzlies.
Caitlyn Rueca added a goal for Gorman, which led 3-2 at the half.
Jozee DeCunzo scored both goals for Spring Valley.
Sierra Vista 3, Bonanza 1 — At Bonanza, Calista Reyes scored twice for the Mountain Lions in their win over the Bengals.
Danielle Johnson also scored for Sierra Vista, and Brittany Hartog had an assist for the Mountain Lions.
Ashley Vasquez scored for Bonanza on an assist from Hannah Webster.
Desert Oasis 3, Clark 0 — At Desert Oasis, Brianna Lane scored twice to lift the Diamondbacks over the Chargers.
Miah Strellnauer added a goal, and Brianna Lane had two assists for Desert Oasis.
Kelsey LeBoeuf and Samantha Gato combined on the shutout.
Virgin Valley 6, Boulder City 2 — At Boulder City, Abbie Barnum had four goals and an assist as the Bulldogs took down the Eagles.
Ally Wright had the other two goals for the Bulldogs. Kallie Graves had two assists for Virgin Valley.
Jordyn Trobiani and Trinity Oeland each had a goal for Boulder City.
Tech 10, Del Sol 0 — At Tech, Melissa Lopez and Leslie Santos each scored two goals as the Roadrunners blitzed the Dragons.
Alysia Mestas had a goal and two assists for Tech, and Analysa Zepeda and Adriana Guzman each had a goal and an assist.
Emily Sepulveda, Myan Lang, and Litzi Olivares-Cortes also scored for the Roadrunners, who got a shutout from goalie Serena De La Rosa.
Samantha Elliott had three assists for Tech.
