GIRLS SOCCER: Piazza’s goal boosts Bengals

Jessica Piazza scored a second-half goal off a corner kick by Ashley Alonzo-Bonilla on Wednesday as Bonanza’s girls soccer team collected a 1-0 win at Desert Oasis.

Samantha Haeick made 10 saves to earn the shutout.

Moapa Valley 1, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jessie Morwood’s first-half goal stood up as the Pirates blanked the Miners.

Cymoni Cooper recorded the shutout for Moapa Valley.

Boulder City 2, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Jeanne Carmell and Vilde Svendsen each netted a goal as the Eagles blanked the Cowboys.

Ali Ravacchi made three saves to record the shutout.

Cimarron-Memorial 4, Legacy 0 — At Cimarron, Jaymee Luke and Jazmin Centeno each scored twice to lead the Spartans by the Longhorns.

Hylee Eibona and Luke combined on the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 4, Centennial 0 — At Gorman, Daisy Cabrera had a goal and an assist as the Gaels topped the Bulldogs.

Kaila Brinkman, Tatum Buckley and Nadia Leal each added a goal for Gorman, which got two assists from McKayla Philippi.

Jessica Anaya and Danielle Maatouk combined on the shutout.

Cheyenne 4, Western 1 — At Cheyenne, Lesly Rodriguez, Carla Rodriguez, Emily Gutierrez and Amairani Gomez scored a goal apiece to help the Desert Shields top the Warriors.

Ellyson Reynada scored on a free kick for Western.

Desert Pines 4, Virgin Valley 1 — At Desert Pines, Jeanna Marin scored three goals to help the Jaguars down the Bulldogs.

Mariyah Espinoza added a goal and an assist for Desert Pines.

Jasmine Correa scored for Virgin Valley.

Clark 9, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Ariana Reyes had five goals and two assists as the Chargers blitzed the Rattlers.

Darian Gambetta added three goals and an assist — all in the first half — for Clark. Alyanna Harina also scored, and Stephanie Chavez had three assists for the Chargers.

Maria Zuniga and Carolina Soto combined on the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 14, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, Sydney Sladek scored eight goals and added an assist as the Trojans overwhelmed the Lions.

Ashlyn DiBlasi supplied two goals and an assist, and Maddie Pereira and Alyssa Turner each contributed a goal and an assist for Pahrump, which also got goals from Sabrina Lunetto and Courtney Lindsey.

Kiaya Nauck made one save en route to the shutout.
