GIRLS SOCCER: Reynada scores twice in Western win

Ellyson Reynada netted two first-half goals Monday to lead Western’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 victory at Sunrise Mountain.
Stephanie Delgadillo and Nathaly Morales combined on the shutout for the Warriors.
Boulder City 4, Basic 3 — At Basic, Jane Nevarez notched two goals, and the Eagles held off the Wolves.
Jana Williams and Vilde Svendsen also scored for Boulder City, which led 3-1 at halftime.
Faith Lutheran 4, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Dani Tharaldson had two goals and an assist to lead the Crusaders by the Mustangs.
Nikki Amavisca and Kristi Chinn also scored for Faith Lutheran, which broke away from a 1-1 halftime tie.
Brianna Haworth scored for Shadow Ridge.
Durango 1, Desert Pines 0 — At Durango, Austin Martines scored a second-half goal to lift the Trailblazers past the Jaguars.
Victoria Bashore made 10 saves to earn the shutout for Durango.
Cheyenne 3, Chaparral 0 — At Cheyenne, Lesly Rodriguez scored all three goals as the Desert Shields blanked the Cowboys.
Cheyenne’s Arika Carey made four saves en route to the shutout.
Foothill 7, Las Vegas 0 — At Foothill, Katherin Ballou scored twice to lead the Falcons by the Wildcats in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.
Verondrea Austin, Taylor Arteaga, Jillian Vigil, Monica Willhite and Rachel Neff each added a goal for Foothill, which got a shutout from Rachel Kole.
Arbor View 1, Coronado 1 — At Green Valley, the Aggies and Cougars played to a rain-shortened tie in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.
Arbor View’s Breanna Larkin and Coronado’s Taylor Korneick each scored before the match was halted at halftime due to lightning.
Green Valley vs. Centennial — The Gators and Bulldogs were scheduled to follow the Arbor View-Coronado match in the Las Vegas Kick-Off, but their match was postponed due to inclimate weather. A make-up date has not been announced.
