GIRLS SOCCER: Steiner scores twice in second half of Vikings’ win over Liberty

Kayla Steiner scored two goals in the second half Thursday to propel Valley's girls soccer team to a 2-0 win over visiting Liberty.
Vanessa Marroquin made three saves to preserve the shutout for the Vikings.
Faith Lutheran 2, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Megan Donnelly and Maggie Shuirman each had a second-half goal to lift the Crusaders to victory over the Rattlers.
Beka Lescenski was in goal for the shutout.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Desert Oasis 1 — At Desert Oasis, Annalise Esparza had a goal and an assist to help the Spartans top the Diamondbacks.
Natasha Martin and Jazmin Centeno also scored for Desert Oasis, which got two assists from Jenny Acevedo.
Cienah Reed scored for Desert Oasis.
Sierra Vista 2, Spring Valley 0 — At Sierra Vista, Cassidy Kouba and Calista Reyes each scored once in the first half as the Mountain Lions topped the Grizzlies.
Jayla Olson made five saves to earn the shutout.
Silverado 3, Canyon Springs 1 — At Silverado, Victoria Bravo, Melina Amador and Victoria Sanchez each scored once to lead the Skyhawks by the Pioneers.
Ashley Llanes scored for Canyon Springs.
Centennial 4, Bonanza 0 — At Centennial, Victoria Cera scored twice to lead the Bulldogs by the Bengals.
Cameron Sickels and Marcella Brooks also scored for Centennial.
Addison Riddle made four saves en route to the shutout.
