ROUNDUP: Apodaca scores two as Rancho nips Las Vegas

Stephanie Apodaca had two goals to help Rancho’s girls soccer team edge visiting Las Vegas 3-2 on Tuesday.
Megan Aoyama scored the other goal for the Rams.
Consuela Cabrera and Mariel Hundley scored a goal apiece for the Wildcats.
Desert Pines 5, Sunrise Mountain 2 — At Sunrise Mountain, Jenny Martinez scored four goals to lift the Jaguars past the Miners.
Vanessa Gomez also scored for Desert Pines.
Jeselle O’Dell scored twice for Sunrise Mountain.
Chaparral 3, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Chase Marchello scored two goals as the Cowboys ran past the Pioneers.
Berenice Garcia had the other goal for Chaparral.
Diamond Miller scored for Canyon Springs.
Silverado 6, Foothill 0 — At Silverado, Alexa Garcia and Taylor Richard each had two goals and an assist as the Skyhawks topped the Falcons.
Elyssa Gallenbeck and Gina Coleman added a goal apiece for Silverado, which held a 1-0 edge at halftime.
Samantha Lewis posted the shutout.
Green Valley 5, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, Kayla Varner had three goals and an assist, and Alyssa Rodriguez supplied two goals to help the Gators cruise past the Patriots.
Nicole Westover recorded the shutout for Green Valley, which led 3-0 at halftime.
Eldorado 4, Valley 0 — At Valley, Teresa Barajas scored two goals to lead the Sundevils past the Vikings.
Alexis Sama and Katelyn Comeno each added a goal, and Chelsea Upshaw had two assists for Eldorado.
Chynna Hartmann earned the shutout for Eldorado.
Coronado 4, Del Sol 0 — At Coronado, Kara Kapow had a goal and an assist to help the Cougars beat the Dragons.
Sierra Klemm, Sarah Pate and Taylor Putzke each added a goal for Coronado.
Kaitlyn Sahrner and Joanna Ross combined on the shutout.
Tech 2, Basic 2 — At Basic, the Wolves and Roadrunners played to a 2-2 tie.
Rachael Montoya and Sophia Estremera each scored a goal for Tech.
