Roundup: Bishop Gorman shuts out Palo Verde

Gianna Gourley converted a feed from Taylor Cox to help Bishop Gorman’s nationally ranked girls soccer team remain unbeaten with a 1-0 home win over Palo Verde on Friday night.

Kirsten Kirchner had two saves en route to a clean sheet for the Gaels, ranked No. 7 nationally by USA Today.

Western 3, Eldorado 1 — At Western, Angelica Sanchez, Geraldi Gomez and Caro Acosta scored goals to help the Warriors hold off the Sundevils.

Isabella Sama scored for Eldorado.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Jazalynn Skougard scored three goals and Katherine Caldwell had three assists as the Spartans defeated the Pioneers.

Goalkeeper Anay Garcia-Reyes made five saves to earn the shutout.

Centennial 1, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Centennial, Reese Simmons scored for the Mustangs to secure a tie with the Bulldogs.

Quincy Bonds scored for Centennial.

Arbor View 4, Bonanza 1 — At Arbor View, Keily Larosee scored two goals in the first half as the Aggies defeated the Bengals.

Brynn Covington and Amber Mallas each scored one goal for Arbor View.
