ROUNDUP: Boulder City girls blank White Pine

Boulder City's girls scored twice in the first half Saturday en route to a 3-0 win over host White Pine in the Class 3A Southern League opener for both teams.
Carly Wiesenborn, Melissa Stewart and Marky Waldo had a goal apiece for the Eagles.

Jessie Forrester recorded the shutout for Boulder City.

Virgin Valley 1, River Valley (Ariz.) 0 — At Mesquite, Jacque Olive scored unassisted to give the Bulldogs their first of two victories on the day.

Virgin Valley 4, Moapa Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Olive scored four goals to lift the Bulldogs over the Pirates.
