Roundup: Desert Oasis blanks visiting Sierra Vista

Jacey Wood scored two goals to lead Desert Oasis’ girls soccer team to a 3-0 home win over Sierra Vista on Wednesday afternoon.

Endya Scott added a goal and an assist for the Diamondbacks, who led 2-0 at halftime.

Samantha Gato and Emily Levy split the shutout.

Bonanza 2, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Celina Gomez and Felicia Sarcletti each scored a second-half goal to help the Bengals defeat the Grizzlies.

Alicia Kestner recorded the shutout.

Tech 2, Virgin Valley 0 — At Tech, Adriana Carrillo and Analysa Zepeda each scored a goal to help the Roadrunners blank the Bulldogs.

Valerie Webb and Alysia Mestas each supplied an assist, and goalkeeper Chloe Dody made four saves to earn the shutout for Tech.

Coronado 5, Liberty 0 — At Liberty, the Cougars had five scorers en route to a shutout win over the Patriots.

Katelyn Moxley, Brenna Heenan, Leili Rosenberg, Alysa Caso and Simone Hottentot each scored for Coronado.

Rosenberg and Hottentot also had an assist for the Cougars, who got a shutout from goalkeeper Taylor Book.

Green Valley 5, Silverado 0 — At Green Valley, Sydney Thomas had two goals and an assist to help the Gators top the Skyhawks.

Taylor O’Neill added a goal and an assist, and Hailey Thomas and Devyn Parsons each scored a goal for Green Valley.

Ryan Sabol (five saves) and Kayley Englund (one save) combined on the shutout.

Clark 8, Durango 0 — At Clark, Jacqueline Gonzalez-Blanco had three goals, and Laura Barraza and Taylor Clark each scored twice to lead the Chargers to a victory over the Trailblazers.

Kanoe Mores also scored for Clark.

Sarah Follmer recorded the shutout.

Foothill 8, Basic 0 — At Foothill, Amber Vokoun had three goals, and Jessica Carnahan scored twice as the Falcons routed the Wolves.

Sydney Babakitis notched a goal and two assists, and Elise Bush and Aqui Williams each added a goal for Foothill, which scored six goals in the second half.

Felicity Reimann and Gianna Perri shared the shutout for Foothill.

Moapa Valley 8, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Christie Eriksen scored twice to lift the Pirates to a decisive victory over the Cowboys.

Jessica Leon, Ashlyn Western, Italia Bracamontes, Autumn Morrow, Bailey Bunker and Alexis Schraft each added a goal for Moapa Valley.

Jessica Leon and Natalie Mills combined to post the shutout.

Somerset-Sky Pointe 5, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Jordan Goolsby had three goals, and Caitlynn Stringer and Isabella Robins each scored once to lift Eagles to a victory over Del Sol.

Noa Bowie scored for the Dragons.
