ROUNDUP: Hipsak’s goal lifts Eldorado past Canyon Springs

Emily Hipsak scored to break a 1-1 tie with 14 minutes remaining in the match Friday, lifting Eldorado’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Canyon Springs.

Claire Wixom also scored for the Sundevils, who led 1-0 at the half.

Ashley Saldivar scored for the Pioneers.

Spring Valley 3, Clark 0 — At Spring Valley, Nicole Snytsheuvel scored twice to lead the Grizzlies past the Chargers.

Casey Carpenter also scored for Spring Valley. Richelle White made two saves to earn the shutout.

Sierra Vista 2, Durango 0 — At Sierra Vista, Darien Walker and Morgan Petit each scored a goal to help the Mountain Lions down the Trailblazers.

Terryn Brown made five saves to earn the shutout.

Western 4, Desert Oasis 4 — At Western, Meagan Damiano’s third goal of the match came with five minutes remaining and allowed the Diamondbacks to tie the Warriors.

Western built a 4-2 halftime lead on two goals by Erika Reynada and a goal each from Anacani Gallegos and Carmen Ramirez. Ramirez also had two assists.

Heather Cantrell also scored for Desert Oasis.
