Roundup: Maggie Shuirman’s late goal gives Crusaders tie with Mustangs

Maggie Shuirman scored with three minutes to play on Tuesday to give Faith Lutheran’s girls soccer team a 3-3 tie with host Shadow Ridge.

Kennedy Lazenby and Madison Stenslie also scored for the Crusaders, who trailed 2-0 at the half.

Kaitlyn Banks had two goals and an assist to lead Shadow Ridge. Camryn Grant added a goal for the Mustangs.

Palo Verde 3, Centennial 1 — At Palo Verde, Madison Hernandez, Noah Johnson, and Olivia Packer each notched a goal as the Panthers turned back the Bulldogs.

Carlee Giammona and Reighna Werner each supplied an assist for Palo Verde, which broke a 1-1 halftime tie with two goals in the second half.

Quincy Bonds scored for Centennial.

Canyon Springs 2, Eldorado 2 — At Eldorado, Ashley Llanes scored in the final 10 minutes to give the Pioneers a tie with the host Sundevils.

Herminia Constanza scored in the first half for Canyon Springs.

Mia Ostler had both goals for Eldorado.

Arbor View 8, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Allyssa Larkin had two goals and an assist to help the Aggies rout the Spartans.

Sierra Vicente, Ashley Kristich, Deja Erickson and Kenna Larosee each added a goal and an assist for Arbor View, which led 6-0 at the half.

Jolianna Meyers and Kelly Larosee each scored once, and goalkeeper Krystin Cooper made two saves to get the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 7, Desert Pines 1 — At Desert Pines, Sydney Dennis had four goals as the Trojans rolled past the Jaguars.

Kaitlyn Carrington, Vaniah Vitto and Kaylee Vega each added goal for Pahrump.

Lizuly Mireles-Gutierrez scored for Desert Pines.

Las Vegas 5, Valley 0 — At Valley, Maria Hernandez had a goal and an assist to lead the Wildcats to victory over the Vikings.

Anna Bowen, Alba Trujillo-Hinojosa, Ivannia Cabrera and Brinkley McCoy each added a goal for Las Vegas.

Larina Ibarra was credited with the shutout.

Western 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Caro Acosta scored twice as the Warriors defeated the Desert Shields.

Devany Marroquin added a goal and an assist for Western.

Mya Heard scored for Cheyenne.
