ROUNDUP: Montoya, Tech girls blitz past Chaparral

Rachael Montoya scored five goals and notched two assists Friday as Tech’s girls soccer team stormed to an 11-1 win over visiting Chaparral.
Tav Temple and Cara Fava each had two goals and an assist for the Roadrunners.
Susan Melian and Maci Fix each scored a goal and logged two assists for Tech.
Jessica Fadgen scored the lone goal for Chaparral.
Liberty 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Liberty, Minerva Massis scored a goal and had an assist to lead the Patriots to a 3-1 home win against the Jaguars.
Susie Abrego and Paige Terlizzi each tallied a goal for Liberty.
Jenny Martinez scored for Desert Pines.
Sierra Vista 2, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Darien Walker and Katrine Baker scored a goal apiece to lead the Mountain Lions past the Longhorns.
Goalkeeper Tina Tyner recorded the shutout for Sierra Vista.
Del Sol 2, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Del Sol, Lizeth Arras and Jennifer Charles-Funk each scored a second-half goal to help the Dragons down Sunrise Mountain.
Jessica Spendlove made 14 saves to earn the shutout.
Foothill 2, Canyon Springs 0 — At Foothill, Elizabeth Philpot and Sage Long scored in the second half to lift the Falcons past Canyon Springs.
Kim Callen made seven saves to earn the shutout.
