ROUNDUP: Moore, Eldorado girls down Patriots

Autumn Moore scored two first-half goals Thursday to help Eldorado’s girls soccer team hold off host Liberty, 2-1.

Haylie McCollom scored in the second half for Liberty.

Arbor View 2, Palo Verde 1 — At Arbor View,  Bailee Davis had a goal and an assist to lead the Aggies past the Panthers.

Amberly Halstead also scored for Arbor View.

Alexa D’Acunto scored for Palo Verde.

Sierra Vista 2, Spring Valley 0 —
 At Spring Valley, Courtney Shay and Angelina Iniguez each scored a goal to help the Mountain Lions top the Grizzlies.

Cypress Whipple made three saves to earn the shutout.

Green Valley 2, Valley 0 — At Valley, Kayla Anderson scored both goals in the Gators’ win over the Vikings.

Nicole Dunn was credited with the shutout.

Las Vegas 4, Canyon Springs 1 — At Canyon Springs, Ashlee Jordan scored three goals to help lead the Wildcats to a  win over the Pioneers.

Mackenzie McCoy added a goal for Las Vegas.

Diamond Larson scored for Canyon Springs.

Silverado 5, Rancho 0 — At Silverado, Danielle Parven scored twice, and Jordan Lommason added a goal and an assist as the Skyhawks routed the Rams.

Krista Lee and Taylor Lommason also scored for Silverado.

Taylor Lommason and Sidney Cimorelli combined on the shutout.

Shadow Ridge 5, Durango 0 —
At Shadow Ridge, Taylor Lopez scored two goals as the Mustangs defeated the Trailblazers.

Gabby Gonzales, Lindsay Irwin, and Jessica Beck also scored for Shadow Ridge.

Dallas Gunny recorded the shutout for Shadow Ridge.

Foothill 6, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Myriah Epino had two goals and an assist as the Falcons blanked the Dragons.

Tayler Arteaga had a goal and an assist, and Jacklyn Perales, Siz-Iren Hoten and Kierstyn Cash also scored for Foothill.

Rachel Kohl made three saves to earn the shutout.

Faith Lutheran 9, Adelson School 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Charlotte Vancura had a goal and two assists as the Crusaders got goals from nine different players in a rout of the Lions.

Julia Benko, Dani Tharaldson, Emily Neighbors, and Tierney Tomburo all had a goal and an assist.

Christine Rasmussen, Jamie McInelly, Lexi Williams, and Brynne Beagle also scored for Faith Lutheran.

Alivia Granneman earned the shutout for Faith Lutheran.

Coronado at Basic — The Cougars and Wolves had their match postponed due to rain. A make-up date has not been announced.

Powerhouse quartet playing for 5A girls soccer state title

The state’s top four girls soccer teams will play for the Class 5A state title, with Bishop Gorman playing Coronado and Liberty facing Faith Lutheran in state semifinals.
