ROUNDUP: Munson’s tie-breaker leads Basic past Coronado

Ashley Munson’s left-footed goal from just outside the 18-yard box with 10 minutes remaining Thursday broke a 2-2 tie and gave host Basic’s girls soccer team a 3-2 upset of Coronado.
Nikki Mullins added a goal and two assists, and Aubrey Sillitoe supplied a goal and an assist for the Wolves.
Aubrey Madden and Kaitlyn Fahrner scored for the Cougars.
Tech 2, Liberty 1 — Rachael Montoya’s goal midway through the second half snapped a 1-1 tie and lifted the Roadrunners past the Patriots.
Alex Guzman also scored for Tech.
Sunshine Soriano notched Liberty’s goal.
Green Valley 4, Silverado 0 — At Green Valley, Kayla Varner and Cayla Imahara each had a goal and an assist as the Gators blanked the Skyhawks.
Gray Taylor and Cassidy McLean added a goal apiece for Green Valley.
Hailey Beekman made five saves to earn the shutout.
Foothill 5, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Kencie Ely and Jacklyn Perales each tallied two goals to lead the Falcons past the Dragons.
Elizabeth Philpot added a goal and an assist for Foothill.
Cori Buck made one save to claim the shutout.
Eldorado 3, Desert Pines 1 — At Eldorado, Alexis Sama notched two goals as the Sundevils built a 3-0 halftime lead and downed the Jaguars.
Chelsea Upshaw also scored for Eldorado.
Vanessa Gomez tallied Desert Pines’ lone goal.
Las Vegas 12, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Las Vegas High, Mariel Hundley had three goals and an assist as the Wildcats routed the Miners.
Consuelo Cabrera, Hadley Weiner and Yesenia Gex each added two goals for Las Vegas. Abby Rodriguez had a goal and two assists, and Carrie Orozco and Emilee Bowen each added a goal for Las Vegas, which got three assists from Sarah Cook.
Allie Hammer was in goal for the shutout.
Rancho 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Rancho, Stephanie Apodaca recorded a goal and two assists as the Rams blanked the Pioneers.
Megan Aoyama and Lucinda Luevanos also scored for Rancho.
Rachael Wiltshire made six saves to earn the shutout.
Valley 6, Chaparral 0 — At Valley, Mandy Lopez had two goals and an assist, and Morgan Baker added two goals as the Vikings blitzed the Cowboys.
Makayla Shorts and Aliya Salas each had a goal and an assist for Valley.
Jayla Stevenson made one save en route to the shutout.
