ROUNDUP: Peeples’ goal lifts Arbor View past Shadow Ridge

Erica Peeples scored an unassisted goal in the first half Tuesday to lift Arbor View’s girls soccer team to a 1-0 win at Shadow Ridge.

Alex Luevano made two saves to earn the shutout for the Aggies, who moved into sole possession of second place in the Northwest League, seven points behind first-place Centennial.

Centennial 5, Legacy 0 — At Centennial, Sophie Krauza had three goals and Bethanie Skelton added a goal and three assists to lead the Bulldogs over the Longhorns.

Ashley Mosley had a goal and an assist and Gretchen Mikulich was in goal for Centennial.

Palo Verde 9, Cheyenne 0 — At Palo Verde, Taylor Reyes and Sila Tuiofea each had three goals and an assist as the Panthers routed the Desert Shields.

Kori Jeffries added two goals, and Alyssa Kleiner had a goal and an assist for Palo Verde. Michelle Panko made four saves to earn the shutout.

Cimarron-Memorial 6, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Jill Masciola scored three goals to lead the Spartans over the Rattlers.

Anescia Rich, Brooke Bonofrio and Julie Mierzwiak each added a goal for Cimarron. Amanda Snyder got the shutout.

Foothill 1, Tech 1 — At Tech, Kim Callen scored on a free kick with six minutes remaining to allow Foothill to tie the Roadrunners.

Rachael Montoya scored on a penalty kick in the first half for Tech.

Silverado 4, Del Sol 0 — At Silverado, Rebecca Stuart had two goals to lead the Skyhawks over the Dragons.

Alexa Garcia added a goal and two assists and Taylor Richard also scored for Silverado.

Shelbi Spooner had two assists, and goalkeeper Samantha Lewis had five saves in the shutout.

Basic 1, Liberty 1 — At Liberty, Kim DeSario’s goal with 10 minutes remaining pulled the Patriots into a tie with Basic.

Kierra Phelps scored in the second half for the Wolves.
