ROUNDUP: Rodriguez helps Desert Pines girls blank Cowboys

Selena Rodriguez had a goal and an assist Thursday to help Desert Pines’ girls soccer team to a 2-0 victory over visiting Chaparral.

Miriam Carrillo scored a goal for the Jaguars, and goalkeepers Martha Gandarilla and Andrea Diaz combined on the shutout.

Bishop Gorman 5, Desert Oasis 2 — At Desert Oasis, Ariana Cabrera scored three goals to lead the Gaels over the Diamondbacks.

Daisy Cabrera added a goal and  two assists, and Katie Turner had a goal and an assist for Gorman.

Megan Stanton scored both goals for Desert Oasis.

Centennial 4, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Centennial, Danielle Farano and Deztanie Villafane each had a goal and an assist as the Bulldogs defeated the Spartans.

Shannelle McDonnell and Emily Bohls also scored for Centennial.

Ryann Abeyta scored for Cimarron.

Boulder City 2, Virgin Valley 1 — At Boulder City, Emilia Oscilowicz had a goal and an assist to lead the Eagles past the Bulldogs.

Karson Bryant’s goal gave Virgin Valley a 1-0 halftime lead.

Jane Nevarez scored the other goal for the Eagles.

Faith Lutheran 9, Western 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Kristi Chinn had two goals and two assists to help the Crusaders shut out the Warriors.

Emily Neighbors and Christine Rasmussen each scored two goals, and Dani Tharaldson added a goal and an assist for Faith Lutheran.

Eryn McCoy and Julia Benko also scored for the Crusaders.

Kelly Zufall and Alivia Granneman combined on the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 5, Clark 0 — At Pahrump, Sydney Sladek and Kristen Young each had two goals and an assist as the Trojans blanked the Chargers.

Courtney Lindsey chipped in a goal  for Pahrump.

Goalie Kiaya Nuack earned the shutout for the Trojans.

Cheyenne 7, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Adrianna Basin had two goals and an assist to help the Desert Shields defeat the Miners.

Mackenzie Smith had one goal and three assists for Cheyenne, which also got goals from Deborah Chinchilla, Jazelle Erives, Samantha Floyd and Amairani Gomez.

Clara Zamora tallied six saves and shared the shutout with Candy Bautista.

Bonanza 7, Legacy 0 — At Legacy, Kara Kwasniowski had three goals and an assist, as the Bengals routed the Longhorns.

Shelby Yuhas and Megan Cousineau each supplied a goal and an assist for Bonanza.

Alexa Brown and Alizabeth Bigger also scored for the Bengals, who got a shutout from Sami Haeick.

Tech 8, Moapa Valley 0 — At Tech, Alex Guzman scored five times as the Roadrunners ran over the Pirates.

Abrana Wielgosiak added a goal and two assists, and Courtney Cates had a goal and an assist  for Tech.

Monica Figerora had three assists for the Roadrunners.

Susan Melian scored a goal and split time with Leslie Ramos in goal.

Mojave 6, Adelson School 3 — At Mojave, Leticia Lopez scored five goals to help the Rattlers top the Lions.

Selene Ramirez added a goal for Mojave.

Kelsie Slee scored all three goals for Adelson.
