ROUNDUP: Sanchez’s late penalty kick helps Spartans salvage tie with Eldorado girls

Tessa Sanchez’s penalty-kick goal with two minutes left Tuesday allowed Cimarron-Memorial’s girls soccer team to earn a 3-3 tie with visiting Eldorado.

Maxene Fehlman and Jaymee Luke each had a goal and an assist for the Spartans.

Cristal Mendoza, Teresa Barajas and Kimberly Olivares scored for the Sundevils, who led 2-1 at halftime.

Clark 5, Mojave 1 — At Mojave, Ariana Reyes had four goals to lead the Chargers past the Rattlers.
Darian Gambetta added a goal and an assist for Clark.

Selene Ramirez scored for Mojave.

Coronado 3, Silverado 1 — At Coronado, Michaela Morris had a goal and an assist to help the Cougars top the Skyhawks.

Gabrielle Morris and Kara Kopolow also scored for Coronado.

A.J. Hodas had Silverado’s goal.

Centennial 4, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Paris Gonzales and Shanelle McDonnell each scored two goals to power the Bulldogs past the Mountain Lions.

Goalkeepers Charlotte Madrid and Karlee Edwards combined on the shutout for Centennial.

Shadow Ridge 6, Tech 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Taylor Lopez scored three goals, and SieYara Wells added a goal and an assist as the Mustangs ran past the Roadrunners.

Brianna Haworth and Erica Watson each scored a goal for Shadow Ridge, and goalkeepers Dominee Roehm and Kaila Hurley shared the shutout.

Desert Pines 3, Virgin Valley 0 — At Desert Pines, Miriam Carrillo scored two goals to lift the Jaguars over the Bulldogs.

Maria Soto added a goal for Desert Pines, which led 2-0 at halftime. Teammate Martha Gandarilla earned the shutout.

Foothill 6, Valley 1 — At Valley, Tayler Arteaga scored three goals to lead the Falcons past the Vikings.

Katherine Ballou, Alyssa Gamboa and Maria Tomczak also scored for Foothill.

Brandy Barton scored for Valley.

Moapa Valley 8, Sunrise Mountain 1 — At Sunrise Mountain, Marie Johansen and Rachel Paystrup each scored twice as the Pirates blitzed the Miners.

Tylee Evans, Linna Hernandez, Hanna Leavitt and Angie Schamanek also scored for Moapa Valley.

Kenia Trujillo scored for Sunrise Mountain.

Chaparral 2, Boulder City 1 — At Chaparral, Ali Todd scored two goals in the first half, and the Cowboys held on for the win over the Eagles.

Coral Leon-Wilson scored for Boulder City.

Rancho 1, Basic 0 — At Basic, Angelica Almaraz scored a goal in the second half as the Rams edged the Wolves.

Goalkeeper MacKenzie Pearson earned the shutout for Rancho.

Cheyenne 10, Western 0 — At Cheyenne, Deborah Chinchilla had four goals and two assists, and Mackenzie Smith added two goals and five assists as the Desert Shields downed the Warriors.

Samantha Floyd had two goals and an assist for Cheyenne, which also got goals from Jazelle Erives and Josephine Lourenco.

Clara Zamora made two saves in the shutout.

Pahrump Valley 11, Adelson School 0 — At Adelson School, the Trojans routed the Lions.
