Roundup: Sara Syvertsen’s goal helps Basic top Las Vegas

Basic’s Sara Syvertsen scored the go-ahead goal in the 30th minute, and the Wolves held on for a 2-1 girls soccer win over visiting Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Sabrina Moreira also scored a first-half goal for Basic.

Atziri Avila scored for the Wildcats.

Clark 2, Bonanza 0 — At Clark, Dabani Rayo scored twice in the second half to lead the Chargers over the Bengals.

Taylor Clark and Luz Juarez-Mera each had an assist, and goalkeeper Sarah Follmer made three saves to get the shutout.

Tech 1, Moapa Valley 0 — At Tech, Joleen Alvarado scored a first-half goal on an assist from Samantha Elliott as the Roadrunners edged the Pirates.

Goalkeeper Chloe Dody earned the shutout for Tech.

Silverado 3, Rancho 0 — At Silverado, McKenzie Papa, Sydni Bishop and Kristyn Lommason each scored a goal to lift the Skyhawks over the Rams.

Savanna Lopez was credited with the shutout for Silverado.

Boulder City 3, Chaparral 0 — At Chaparral, Makenna Araboreen had two goals and an assist to lead the Eagles over the Cowboys.

Mdison Manns added a goal and two assists for Boulder City.

Erin Taggard recorded the shutout.

Virgin Valley 4, Del Sol 1 — At Del Sol, Kallie Graves notched a goal and assist as the Bulldogs defeated the Dragons.

Kari Wakefield, Ally Wright and Rainee Brito each scored a goal and Madison Cheney supplied two assists for Virgin Valley.

Mia Espinoza scored for Del Sol.

Bishop Gorman 6, Sierra Vista 0 — At Gorman, Jacqueline Hillegas scored twice to help the Gaels defeat the Mountain Lions.

Jaden Terrana added a goal and three assists for Gorman, which led 2-0 at the half.

Colbi Rohr and Jasmine Anaya each scored once for the Gaels, and Kirsten Kircher made two saves to get the shutout.

Green Valley 7, Valley 0 — At Green Valley, Maggie Bender and Kayley Englund each had a goal and two assists as the Gators blanked the Vikings.

Jazlyn Hall, Taylor O’Neill, Lianna Soifua, Mariah Neshkoff and Nadia Campbell each scored once for Green Valley, which led 4-0 at halftime.

Goalkeeper Ryan Sabol got the shutout for the Gators.

Foothill 8, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Brooke Vokoun had two goals and an assist as the Falcons routed the Pioneers.

Alexis Huff and Amber Vokoun each added two goals for Foothill, which led 6-0 at the half. Gabby Anderson had a goal and an assist, and Reagann Larson scored once for the Falcons.

Felicity Reimann and Gianna Perry combined on the shutout.

Coronado 8, Eldorado 0 — At Eldorado, Makenna Curcuru scored three goals as the Cougars rolled past the Sundevils.

Katelyn Moxley scored twice, and Kaitlyn Kowalchuk had two assists for Coronado, which led 7-0 at the half.

Leili Rosenberg, Alysa Caso and Teagan Tenwolde each added a goal for the Cougars.

Desert Oasis 8, Durango 0 — At Desert Oasis, Ashley Wood had three goals to help the Diamondbacks top the Trailblazers.

Audrey Dunn and Adriana Gonzalez each added a goal and an assist for Desert Oasis, and Cecily Demille, Endya Scott and Kennedy Ficklin also scored for the Diamondbacks.

Kelsey LeBoeuf and Emily Levy combined on the shutout.

Liberty 5, Somerset Sky-Pointe 0 — At Somerset-Sky Pointe, Jordyn McCollum had two goals and an assist as the Patriots beat the Eagles.

Josephine Camacho, Makenna Ciska and Ylexus Gilliland each added a goal for Liberty.

Ashley Bongiovanni and Leila McLean combined to make four saves in the shutout.
