ROUNDUP: Soriano’s tally lifts Patriots past Cheyenne
Sunshine Soriano netted the tiebreaking goal with six minutes left Monday to lift Liberty’s girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over visiting Cheyenne.
Soriano also had an assist, and teammate Ari Gonzalez added a goal and an assist.
Adriana Vasin scored the Desert Shields’ goal.
Basic 1, Rancho 0 — At Basic, Alicia Pyeatt’s first-half goal was enough to push the Wolves past the Rams.
Lizvette Herrera and Julia Gardner combined on the shutout for Basic.
