ROUNDUP: Sundevils pummel host Vikings, expand lead in Northeast

Teresa Barajas, Madison Granger, Autumn Moore and Alexis Sama each scored a goal during a first-half barrage Monday to lead Eldorado’s girls soccer team to a 4-0 win at Valley.
The Sundevils completed the first round of Northeast League play with a 6-0-1 league mark, good for 19 points and a four-point advantage over the second-place Vikings (5-2).
Hannah Pewtress was in goal for the shutout.
Rancho 2, Las Vegas 1 — At Rancho, Lucy Luevanos had a goal and an assist to help the Rams hold off the Wildcats.
Ashley Labarre also scored for Rancho.
Andrea Vidales notched Las Vegas’ goal.
Canyon Springs 3, Chaparral 2 — At Canyon Springs, Valeria Perez tallied two goals to help the Pioneers collect their first win of the year.
Rosaura Guerrero-Escobedo also scored for Canyon Springs.
Rosalia Martinez and Yasmin Garcia each notched a goal for Chaparral.
Sunrise Mountain 1, Desert Pines 0 — At Sunrise Mountain, Emma Hull’s second-half goal allowed the Miners to edge the Jaguars.
Aryn Bordman and Yoslin Luna combined on the shutout for Sunrise Mountain.
Green Valley 1, Tech 0 — At Tech, Cassidy McLean’s first-half goal stood up as the Gators edged the Roadrunners.
Nicole Dunn was in goal for the shutout.
Coronado 1, Silverado 0 — At Coronado, Kathleen Cuevas scored on a penalty kick early in the second half to lead the Cougars by the Skyhawks.
Kaitlyn Fahrner and Melanie Frank combined on the shutout for Coronado.
Foothill 2, Liberty 1 — At Foothill, Drea Austin tallied a goal off a rebound, and Jillian Vigil added a free-kick marker in the second half to help the Falcons hold off the Patriots.
Alexia Gonzalez scored with four minutes left in the match for Liberty.
Basic 3, Del Sol 0 — At Basic, Tristan Radley scored twice to lead the Wolves past the Dragons for their first Southeast League win of the year.
Nikki Mullins added a goal and two assists for Basic.
Lisvette Herrera was in goal for the shutout.
