Roundup: Sunrise Mountain slips past Boulder City

Brisa Caamano scored twice Monday as Sunrise Mountain’s girls soccer team edged visiting Boulder City, 5-4.

Alexandra Trinidad added a goal and an assist, and America Zacarias and Stephanie Plazola each scored once for the Miners.

Makenna Arboreen had two goals for the Eagles.

Madison Manns had one goal and one assist for Boulder City, and teammate Maggie Clary scored once.

Las Vegas 9, Canyon Springs 0 — At Las Vegas High, Brinkley McCoy had two goals and four assists to help the Wildcats to the win over the Pioneers.

Violeta Calderon and Ariana Sweitzer each added two goals, and Leslie Garcia had a goal and an assist for Las Vegas. Grace Sedillo and Maria Hernandez each scored once for the Wildcats, who got two assists from Kennedy Christofferson.

Larina Ibarra had the shutout.

Moapa Valley 8, Chaparral 0 — At Moapa Valley, Italia Bracamontes had three goals and one assist as the Pirates defeated the Cowboys.

Makayla Baldwin, Ashlyn Western, Peyton Schraft, Kaitlyn Hopkins, and Sierra Staheli each scored one goal for Moapa Valley.

Goalkeeper Kyra Larsen made three saves to get the shutout.
