ROUNDUP: Western uses late free kick to dispatch Sierra Vista

Carmen Ramirez scored on a free kick with 15 minutes left in the match to give Western's girls soccer team a 1-0 home victory over Sierra Vista on Monday.

Warriors goalkeeper Tiara Johnson earned the shutout.

Spring Valley 2, Bonanza 0 — At Spring Valley, Bailey Boyack and Markie Henderson each tallied a goal to lift the Grizzlies past the Bengals.

Goalkeeper Megan Delaney earned the shutout.

Cimarron-Memorial 7, Cheyenne 0 — At Cimarron, Brooke Donofrio scored three goals as the Spartans routed the Desert Shields.

Jenna Charles added two goals, and Starlyn Thomas and Lindsay Millen each scored once.

Joanie Painter had three assists, and Taylor Tinier assisted on two goals.

Goalkeeper Mariah Abeyta picked up the shutout.

Palo Verde 9, Mojave 0 — At Palo Verde, Alyssa Kleiner had two goals and an assist, and Krystina Walters scored twice to give the Panthers the win over the Rattlers.

Lauren Kaskie had a goal and three assists, and Kainoa Becker, Kylie Day, Tatiana Pagan and Alexis Vega each scored for Palo Verde.

Bishop Gorman 3, Durango 0 — At Gorman, Claire Colquitt had a goal and assist to lead the Gaels past the Trailblazers.

Kylie Kircher and Mia Moore also scored for the Gaels.

Kaylie Vitale and Sam Higgins combined on the shutout.

Arbor View at Centennial — At Centennial, the game was postponed due to lack of game officials.
