Liberty’s 30-24 overtime win over Bishop Gorman on Friday ended the Gaels’ streak of 10 straight state championships and a 115-game winning streak against in-state opponents.

The Gaels weren’t as dominant as last season, but they’re back at the state tournament after winning the Desert Region. They’re joined at state by Durango and Palo Verde.
