Davian Jordan led three double-figure scorers with 22 points Saturday to help Bonanza’s boys basketball team to a 62-50 win over Pahranagat Valley in a first-round bracket game of the Vegas Invitational at Mountain View.
Chaparral scored just two points in the final 3:30 of overtime, and the Layton Christian’s Lovisa Humla made her only three baskets in the extra period to lift the Eagles to a 64-59 win over the Cowboys at Mountain View.
Marcia Hawkins scored 13 of her game-high 22 points in the second half Tuesday to lift Chaparral’s girls basketball team to a 55-36 win over South El Monte (Calif.) in the semifinals of the Vegas Invitational at Mountain View.
