Outlook: The Gaels return 10 letter winners from last year’s squad, including the two leading hitters, Passalacqua (.457, 21 RBIs) and Dias (.447, 13 RBIs). Coyle (.402, 15 RBIs), Witucki (.397, 24 RBIs) and Gondini (.396, 15 RBIs) also had productive seasons.

“Leadership has to step up this year,” Smith said. “We have the talent to do pretty well this season.”
