Legacy softball, baseball sweep Mojave

Braelin Brockway went 3-for-3 with a triple, three runs and five RBIs on Saturday to lead host Legacy’s softball team to a 21-1, five-inning win over Mojave.
Alyssa Spencer went 3-for-4 with a triple, three runs and four RBIs, and Elisa Rodriguez was 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBIs for the Longhorns. Clarissa Lona was 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs for Legacy, which scored 10 runs in the second inning.
Haley Pedersen and Kellie Nelson combined on a one-hitter for Legacy.
BASEBALL
Forrest Grevelis’ one-out single in the bottom of the fourth inning plated Austin Michals with the eventual winning run as Legacy downed visiting Mojave, 2-1.
Alex Tadd was 1-for-3 with a triple and a run, and Michals was 1-for-3 with a double and a run. Tadd and Michals combined to throw a seven-hitter for Legacy.
Reese McClain was 1-for-3 with a double, and Scott Wilson was 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Mojave.
