ROUNDUP: Barrera’s no-hitter helps Gators blank Dragons

Megan Barrera tossed a five-inning no-hitter, and Fenixx Henderson was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs Wednesday to lead Green Valley’s softball team to a 10-0 win over visiting Del Sol.
Maggie Manwarren went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Gators. Anysa Calderon and Chelsea Perez each drove in two runs for Green Valley.
Rancho 26, Desert Pines 0 — At Rancho, Aly Lamboo spun a five-inning no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and one walk as the Rams blitzed the Jaguars.
Lamboo went 2-for-2 with a home run, and teammate Nicole Hafen was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
Bishop Gorman 5, Clark 2 — At Clark, Dayton Yingling spun a three-hitter and had a double to help the Gaels to a win over the Chargers.
Shelby Estocado supplied a two-run triple in the second inning for Gorman.
Shawna Potratz had an RBI single and scored a run for Clark.
Foothill 3, Basic 1 — At Basic, Alex Petrolia tossed a seven-hitter to help the Falcons hold off the Wolves.
Foothill scored a run on a wild pitch, and another on an RBI single by Lauren Penksa in the top of the fourth inning to take a 3-0 lead.
Penksa finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored for Foothill, which got two hits from Hannah Stevens and a double from Madison Pike.
Marissa Ross supplied an RBI single for Basic, which got a double each from Paige Blake and Tiana Tapuala.
Valley 13, Sunrise Mountain 11 — At Valley, Zoe Galindo went 1-for-2 with a triple, a run and five RBIs to help the Vikings outlast the Miners.
Jamie Goodman was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Valley.
Taryn Sharp went 2-for-3 with a triple, a double, two runs and two RBIs to pace Sunrise Mountain.
Coronado 10, Tech 1 — At Coronado, Kendell Sauter belted a three-run, pinch-hit homer to help lift the Cougars to a win over the Roadrunners in five innings.
Danielle Amato tossed a five-hitter and went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Coronado, which got three hits and an RBI from Kiley Harrison.
Jordyn Roark supplied an RBI on a sacrifice fly for Tech.
Eldorado 11, Chaparral 3 — At Eldorado, Ashley Jarzombek went 4-for-4 and tossed a seven-hitter with 14 strikeouts as the Sundevils downed the Cowboys.
Taylor Schroeder was 3-for-4 with a double for Eldorado.
Lauren Lesniak went 3-for-4 for Chaparral.
Silverado 8, Liberty 0 — At Silverado, Ari Montuno went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI as the Skyhawks shut out the Patriots.
Francesca Foti went 2-for-3 for Liberty.
Las Vegas 18, Canyon Springs 3 — At Las Vegas High, Ashly Westgarth was 4-for-4 with a double as the Wildcats routed the Pioneers in five innings.
Samantha Remer went 2-for-4 with a triple, and Erin Glidden went 2-for-4 with a double for Las Vegas.
Brooke Booth tossed a three-hitter for the Wildcats.
Arbor View 14, Virgin Valley 2 — At Mesquite, Amber Raab went 4-for-4 to lead the Aggies by the Bulldogs in five innings.
Marissa Bachman was 2-for-4 for Arbor View.
