ROUNDUP: Coronado rallies for win over Foothill

Katie Cochran’s two-run triple keyed a six-run sixth inning Friday as Coronado’s softball team rallied for an 8-6 win over visiting Foothill.
Morgan Yuhas went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and Lexy Moss went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and one run for Coronado.
Shelbie Medrano was 4-for-4 with a triple, two doubles, three RBIs and a run for Foothill, and teammate Kylie Ishikawa went 3-for-4.
Silverado 1, Tech 0 — At Silverado, Katie Devlin pitched a one-hitter to lead the Skyhawks past the Roadrunners.
Devlin walked five, hit one batter and struck out 10.
Emily Galante scored on a passed ball in the first inning for the game’s only run. She led off with a single, eventually reaching second base on a passed ball and stealing third.
Tech pitcher Amanda Roark allowed four hits and fanned 10.
Liberty 14, Del Sol 3 — At Del Sol, Breanna English went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and an RBI to lead the Patriots past the Dragons.
Megan Patras was 2-for-4 with two triples for Liberty.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Cheyenne 1 — At Cheyenne, Carrie Sheehan tossed a four-hitter and struck out 10 to help the Spartans defeat the Desert Shields.
Cimarron took advantage of seven Cheyenne errors to score single runs in each of the first three innings.
Rachel Holly, who tossed a four-hitter, was 2-for-3 for the Desert Shields.
Legacy 28, Mojave 4 — At Legacy, Kayla Murray drove in three runs and scored twice, finishing 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and a home run to lead the Longhorns over the Rattlers in five innings.
Jessie Wilhelm got the win and went 4-for-4 with three runs and one RBI, and Kirsten Pico went 3-for-4 with four runs for Legacy.
Faith Lutheran 9-9, Virgin Valley 2-10 — At Mesquite, Virgin Valley scored the go-ahead run on an error in the bottom of the sixth inning of the second game to salvage a split of the doubleheader.
The Bulldogs rallied from an 8-2 deficit with five runs in the fourth inning and two in the sixth.
Kelly Kersey was 3-for-3 for Faith Lutheran.
In the opener, Kersey tossed a five-hitter and struck out eight. She also went 2-for-5 with a double.
Pahranagat Valley 16-16, Sandy Valley 1-0 — At Sandy Valley, Addie Canning and Kyla Mortensen combined on a no-hitter in the second game as the Panthers swept the Sidewinders in a pair of five-inning games.
Canning and Mary Higbee combined to one-hit Sandy Valley in the opener.
In the first game, Canning was 3-for-4 with a home run and Jamey Brede 2-for-2.
In the second game, Tammy Spencer and Canning (three RBIs) had two hits each for Pahranagat Valley.
Henderson International 20, Indian Springs 1 — At Indian Springs, Brittany Huff hit for the cycle to lead the Wolverines to a five-inning rout of the Thunderbirds.
Huff was 5-for-5 with one RBI. Lee Harrison went 4-for-4 with four RBIs for Henderson International.
Natasha Chapman earned a complete-game win, scattering five hits and striking out seven.
Tiffani Hereen tripled for Indian Springs.
Boulder City 10-6, Moapa Valley 0-0 — At Boulder City, Dylan Scott and Karlee Koopman each tossed a shutout as the Eagles swept Moapa Valley.
Scott spun a five-inning one-hitter in the opener, striking out five. Taylor McKeever, Melissa Stewart and Megan Snyder each had two hits.
In the nightcap, Koopman fired a five-hitter with six strikeouts. Paxton Fleming went 3-for-3 with an RBI for the Eagles.
