Roundup: Foothill pitches way past Eldorado

Allie Fox and Ashlyn Cowdell combined on a two-hitter Tuesday to help Foothill’s softball team to a 7-1 win over visiting Eldorado.
Fox struck out eight in 6⅓ innings.
Leah Becker was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs, and Morgan Matsumoto went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Foothill.
Adriana Romero was 1-for-3 and scored a run for Eldorado.
Rancho 7, Spring Valley 4 — At Spring Valley, Taya Friedrich went 2-for-3 with three RBIs to help the Rams hold off the Grizzlies.
Lorena De La Torre was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and winning pitcher Alyssa Ortiz was 2-for-3 for Rancho.
Teegan Teal went 3-for-4, and Chryshelle Abril-Ryan was 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Spring Valley.
Centennial 10, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Abby Hanley fired a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts and no walks as the Bulldogs blanked the Mountain Lions in five innings.
Maddie Kallfelz was 3-for-4 with a run and four RBIs, and Hanley went 3-for-4 with a triple and a run to lead the Centennial offense.
Natasha Lawrence was 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and two RBIs, and Madeline Wade went 2-for-3 with a run for the Bulldogs, who used a five-run fourth inning to take a 7-0 lead.
Aaliyah Medina went 2-for-2 for Sierra Vista.
Desert Oasis 11, Palo Verde 1 — At Desert Oasis, Holly Severence was 3-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Diamondbacks by the Panthers in six innings.
Jazmyn Compehos hit two home runs for Desert Oasis.
Camden Zahn was 2-for-3 for Palo Verde.
Silverado 11, Las Vegas 0 — At Las Vegas High, Jessica Boothe was 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to lead the Skyhawks to the five-inning win over the Wildcats.
Winning pitcher Kathryn Carder went 2-for-3 with a run and three RBIs. She also spun a four-hitter with five strikeouts.
Megan Johnson was 2-for-4 with three runs, and Alezandria Guarriglia and Meleah Rivera each had two hits, a run and an RBI for Silverado.
Nataly Rodriguez went 2-for-2 for Las Vegas.
Tech 15, Desert Pines 5 — At Tech, Harlee Makue was 3-for-3 with three runs as the Roadrunners routed the Jaguars in five innings.
Janelle Barlann had a triple and two runs for Tech.
Diana Guevara and Skye Solano each supplied two hits for Desert Pines.
Basic 15, Legacy 0 — At Basic, winning pitcher Shelby Basso went 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI as the Wolves beat the Longhorns in three innings.
Mikayla Berg was 2-for-3 with a grand slam, and Madison Berg and Sierra McClean each had two hits and two RBIs for Basic.
Cimarron-Memorial 15, Clark 0 — At Cimarron, Mya’Liah Bethea was 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs as the Spartans routed the Chargers in three innings.
Tiarra Del Rosario was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Nicole Lopez was 3-for-3 for Cimarron. Jessica Marco went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Spartans.
Winning pitcher Destiney Guerrero allowed two hits and struck out four. She also went 1-for-2 with a double and three RBIs.
Shadow Ridge 19, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, winning pitcher Alyssa Stanley went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs as the Mustangs routed the Crusaders in three innings.
Stanley allowed one hit and struck out eight.
Mikayla Brown was 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs, and Caitlyn Covington was 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs for Shadow Ridge. Alexis Toia was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Mustangs.
