ROUNDUP: Gage, sixth-inning burst lift Diamondbacks past Mountain Lions

Dayana Gage had two doubles, a triple and three RBIs, and Desert Oasis’ softball team used a seven-run sixth inning to post a 12-7 win at Sierra Vista on Wednesday.
Briona Santovito added three hits, two runs and two RBIs for the Diamondbacks, who also got a triple and a double from Emily Heinz.
Alexis Land went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored, and teammate Danyella Gonzalez was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs for Sierra Vista.
Bishop Gorman 4, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Dayton Yingling spun a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts to help lead the Gaels to a win over the Grizzlies.
Shelby Estocado went 2-for-4 with a run for Gorman, which got a triple from Jasmine Gibson.
Katie Campo led Spring Valley with a double and two walks.
Durango 4, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Pahrump, Dallas Boyce tossed a four-hit shutout and struck out eight to lead the Trailblazers past the Trojans.
Cat Smith went 3-for-3, and Kendall Short added a double and two RBIs for Durango.
Casey Sierra was 2-for-3 for Pahrump.
Bonanza 8, Western 5 — At Bonanza, Megan Rabe went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer, a double and three RBIs as the Bengals erased a 3-0 first-inning deficit and downed the Warriors.
Raquel Scholz was 3-for-4 with an RBI for Bonanza.
Centennial 9, Shadow Ridge 3 — At Shadow Ridge, Heather Bowen went 2-for-4 with a home run, and the Bulldogs scored six runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back en route to the win.
Maddie Henzlik, Savannah Horvath and Taylor Huntly each went 2-for-4 for Centennial.
Tana Feiner was 3-for-3 with a triple, and Justin Garganese went 2-for-3 for Shadow Ridge.
Palo Verde 11, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At Cimarron, Melissa Lacro led off the game with a home run and finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Panthers past the Spartans in five innings.
Lauren Oxford was 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs for Palo Verde.
Rachel Williams tossed a three-hitter for the Panthers.
Faith Lutheran 13, Cheyenne 2 — At Cheyenne, Stacie Graham spun a four-hitter with seven strikeouts as the Crusaders routed the Desert Shields in six innings.
Mandy Young went 2-for-3 with four RBIs for Faith Lutheran, which got three hits and four runs from Vanessa Valdez.
Vanessa Sanders finished 2-for-2 with a two-run home run for Cheyenne.
Moapa Valley 24, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, Summer Owens homered and doubled, and the Pirates used a 10-run second inning to rout the Rattlers in five innings.
Ashley Persico went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Mojave.
Virgin Valley 9, Clark 8 — At Mesquite, Halie Wakefield went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, and the Bulldogs scored twice in the bottom of the seventh inning to nip the Chargers.
Julianna Thornock was 2-for-4 for Clark.
