ROUNDUP: Harmon fuels Shadow Ridge rout

Mandy Harmon tossed three scoreless innings and smacked a home run Friday to lead Shadow Ridge’s softball team to a season-opening 12-1 win over visiting Del Sol.
Courtney Winnett went 3-for-4 and hit one of the Mustangs’ four triples. Shayla Grace and Mary Jordan each went 2-for-2 for Shadow Ridge.
Foothill 3, Fremont (Calif.) 2 — At St. George, Utah, Rosie Ritchie’s two-out double in the bottom of the seventh scored Danielle Bellinger to lift the Falcons to a win in the March Warm-Up.
Shelbie Medrano tossed a five-hitter, striking out 10, to pick up the victory for Foothill. She also led the offense, going 2-for-3 with a double.
Myranda Mortel went 2-for-4 to help the Falcons.
Copper Hills (Utah) 8, Foothill 4 — At St. George, Copper Hills had 10 hits and was helped by seven Falcons errors in the five-inning win.
Hunter (Utah) 2, Cimarron-Memorial 0 — At St. George, Carrie Sheehan tossed a two-hitter and struck out nine, but Cimarron managed only one hit and fell to Hunter in the March Warm-Up.
Cimarron-Memorial 2, Las Vegas 0 — At St. George, Sheehan tossed a two-hitter and struck out 10, and hit a two-run double in the first inning to lead Cimarron to the win.
Mountain Pointe (Ariz.) 5, Desert Oasis 2 — At Bullhead City, Ariz., Emily Heinz was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs, but the Diamondbacks fell to Mountain Pointe in the Tournament of Champions.
Desert Oasis’ Morgan Hughes struck out nine.
Alta (Utah) 6, Desert Oasis 5 — At Bullhead City, Ariz., Heinz went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored, but Alta scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to escape with the win.
Andrea McIntosh was 2-for-4 with a double and a run for the Diamondbacks, and Briona Santovito went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Legacy 5, Needles 0 — At Needles, Calif., Sierra Pico tossed a no-hitter, striking out 11 and walking one, as the Longhorns downed the Mustangs in the Colorado River Invitational.
Darcey Cochran was 3-for-3 and scored two runs for Legacy, and Alexis Fuller went 2-for-2.
Legacy 11, White Pine 1 — Pico followed up her no-hitter with a one-hitter, striking out nine in four innings and allowing only a second-inning solo home run, as the Longhorns rolled.
Katrina Rand was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and two runs. Jessie Wilhelm went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for
Legacy, and Kayla Murray went 2-for-3 with a triple, three RBIs and two runs.
Faith Lutheran 11, Pershing County 7 — At Needles Calif., Kaitlyn Patterson went 2-for-3 to lead the Crusaders to a win in the Colorado River Invitational.
Yuma (Ariz.) 7, Faith Lutheran 2 — At Needles, Calif., the Crusaders jumped to an early 1-0 lead before falling to Yuma.
Faith Lutheran 6, Needles 5 — At Needles, Calif., Patterson went 2-for-2 and Brittany Hanson went 2-for-2 with two stolen bases to lead the Crusaders past the host Mustangs.
Alex Chandler had a home run for Needles.
