ROUNDUP: Henderson International no-hits Beatty twice in softball

Lee Harrison tossed a five-inning perfect game in the nightcap Friday as Henderson International’s softball team swept a doubleheader without allowing a hit to visiting Beatty, 20-1 and 10-0.

Harrison struck out 10 of the 15 batters she faced in the second game.

In the opener, Natasha Chapman and Pamela Sakuma combined on a five-inning no-hitter.

Brittnay Huff and Alyssa Ayers each went 4-for-7 on the day for Henderson International.

Boulder City 18-11, Virgin Valley 0-1 — At Boulder City, Taylor McKeever went a combined 7-for-8 with three doubles and a triple to lead the Eagles to a double-header sweep over the Bulldogs.

Melissa Steward went 6-for-6 with a double to help Boulder City, and teammate Karlee Koopman struck out 12 in tossing a five-inning no-hitter in the first game.

Faith Lutheran 9-13, Moapa Valley 4-8 — At Overton, the Crusaders used a pair of five-run innings to sweep the Pirates.
Faith Lutheran’s Ashley Green hit a two-run double to key a five-run seventh in the first game.

Green was 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

In the second game, the Crusaders trailed 8-7 before a five-run sixth gave them the lead for good.

King was 4-for-4 with three RBIs, and Maya Barnes went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs for Faith Lutheran.

Lincoln County 14-17, Mountain View 0-6 — At Mountain View, the Lynx took advantage of 29 errors to sweep the Saints.
Kori Gloeckner threw a three-hit shutout in the first game.

In the second game, Terra Tibbitts had four RBIs and Jaycie Huff three to lead Lincoln County.

Mountain View’s Valencia Casey tripled and drove in two runs in the second game.

Pahranagat Valley 15-15, Indian Springs 0-5 — At Alamo, the Panthers swept the Thunderbirds to clinch the regular-season Class 1A Southern League championship.

Addie Canning tossed a five-inning no-hitter in the first game and went 6-for-6 with a home run, a double and seven RBIs on the day.

Roxie Lasike went a combined 5-for-6 with a triple and three RBIs for Pahranagat Valley.

Calvary Chapel 16-16, The Meadows 0-6 — At Calvary Chapel, Kaitlyn Ulrich threw a shutout in the first game as the Lions swept the Mustangs.
